WSBK » WSBK Monza: Rea: We didn’t get what we deserved

re: "Get out of the contract and quick, can´t see a new and improved Blade in the near future in todays economic climate." economic climate has little to no input on what honda produces. they basically produce whatever they want, whenever they want. it still remains to be seen if they're TRULY interested in WSBK...? having cancelled christmas on production a dozen years ago, soichiro's heritage has always been in grandprix. and they got marquez "the boy wonder".

WSBK » WSBK Monza: Guintoli: Sykes penalty decision obvious to me

re: "When you look at the video, it's obvious that he wasn't able to turn after outbraking Guintoli" TO THE TRAINED EYE, when looking at the video, it's obvious that melandri (leg dangling for a delayed turn in) parked in the chicane. the reason i know this scenario well is because i fell victim to it and still have a bad left ankle resulting from the digger i took over a decade ago. it happens.

WSBK » WSBK Monza: Sykes reinstated to third position

re: "He definitely should have been penalized for running off track". breaking news, historically being the "fast track" on the tour, monza doesn't penalize for running OFF course. why...? 'cause this is going to happen and has BEEN happening for decades. instead, having thought the matter through, they penalize for improper REJOIN. anybody who knows anything about safety under green flag conditions knows THIS is the issue they are addressing. i'm afraid, many of you guys are talking out of your league.

WSBK » WSBK Monza: Sykes reinstated to third position

re: "that is why I hate the asphalt run-off areas. The gravel traps punish the rider/driver errors, but the asphalt didn't" and that's why some LOVE asphalt run-off areas. they exist because at some point in history, a person of intelligence (wisdom of Methuselah this), made an argument that gravel travels often times punish rider/driver errors TOO SEVERLY.

MOTOGP » Valentino Rossi gives opinion on Marquez-Lorenzo clash

re: "Wilco Zeelenberg did however make clear he felt Marquez would not have made the corner without the contact." well... yeah... but the burden of this observation rests squarely with lorenzo. he had already just seen the kid lunging wildly a few turns prior and he successfully countered THAT by crossing back under. the move AGAIN was to sucker him deep into the BZ, jump on the binders and square off to the inside. jay made a bad choice and in doing so ignored the arrow remaining in his quiver. moral: "never stop fighting till the fight is done" (costner/elliot ness voice). here endeth the lesson.
