Totally agree with Rossi, the 800cc bikes are plain boring to watch and apart from the Lorenzo and Rossi show the races are pretty boring.Seeing the 990s sideways and smoking through the turns made it a must watch TV spectacle and the races were always far more entertaining.I think they should bring back the 990s for both the riders and the fans.

A double world champion in his chosen sport one of which has put him in the record books and still some people slag the guy off,how come ? Good luck to JT next year,i'm sure the WSB season is going to be far more entertaining than Moto GP has been in the last few years.I think JT is better off where he is now,and with anther chance of creating history in WSB if he can win for Yamaha, something i see him doing.

Moto GP should be broadcast live on Eurosport as well as the BBC like it used to be.The format worked perfectly in the past and didn't need changing in the first place.Yet another thing Dorna have messed with to so call improve things. If it aint broke, dont fix it !

Ben Spies, hands down.Having never raced in WSB before and not knowing the circuits he beat the man that should really have walked away with the title, having spent 10yrs trying to win it.

Haga's best chance of winning the title was this year and he blew it.He won't win the title next year and i don't see him winning it at all.Next years championship is going to be harder for him with Toseland coming back and Crutchlow also on the factory Yamaha,Bryne on a decent Ducati for a change and not to mention Haslam on a factory suzuki and a buch of others who will make life more difficult for him next year.Haga is a great rider, but no two weekends are ever the same for him.He either walks away with the race, falls off or finishes down the field, all of which doesn't win the title. He's good but not good enough to be champion IMO.

Seems like the powers that be didn't really think it through properly when they made all these changes to the championship when they decided to stop with the 500cc 2 strokes.Costs and depleted grids have been the norm ever since, both of which have gotten worse and now they're on about bringing in modified 1000cc production engines which they banned originally, just makes the whole situation all the more laughable.Give it another 5 yrs and I can see them producing 500s again to cut costs further and put more teams and riders on the grids, something they shouldn't have changed in the first place as far as i'm concerned.Bringing back the 990s would be a good start though.

Why so many negative comments about Hodgson returning to race in Britain ? The guy is British and has spent a few years racing in AMA on machinery not capable of winning the championship.Over there you're largely forgotten in Europe as there isn't any coverage of the championship over here now.The guy should have returned when Ducati quit the AMA series especially as the championship changed for the worse not long after. After last years BSB championship and the lack of real competition i think the series needs some good riders back in the series to kick it up a gear, so to have a former World Champion returning to a championship he also won has to be a good thing.

Thats a great shame. At this rate there will only be about 5 teams and 10 riders on the grid by 2011.This series is looking more and more doomed. So much for the 800s saving moto gp.Should have stuck with the 500s,much more entertaining and a sh1t load cheaper to race.

Nicky Hayden is a great rider,i dont know why so many people slate him.I think he should be the next rider to ride the Tech 3 Yamaha if Honda don't resign him in 2011.I hope he does ride for Honda again and hope Pete Benson is his main man again. He's another man shafted by Honda.

Great to see Melandri back in the top 5 with Honda again. He must be chuffed to fcuk to be off of the crapasaki and back on a decent bike that he feels comfortable on.Hayden up there too, hope he has a better year next year as well.
