MotoGP » Rossi lapped as Ducati era draws to an end

Did Ellison pit like Rossi had to,didn't think he did but could be wrong.Either wsy,Rossi was the highest placed Ducati in the championship which says more about the bike than anything else,Hayden didn't even get a podium this year.Rossi was Ducati's number one rider and finished ahead of every other Ducacti in the championship,so job done really ! If he now finishes around 5 place on the Yamaha next year then yes, time for him to retire. Now,do you really believe Rossi on a factory Yamaha is going to get lapped in the next 2 years ? He'll probably lap at least one Ducatnd a Paul Bird CRT bike at some time next year.Ducati obviously have a major problem otherwise they wouldn't rebuild their entire team as rumour would suggest.Maybe they should have done that last year.

MotoGP » Rossi, Dovi, Crutchlow comment on Marquez clash

I can't help but feel he'll be on his ars3 more often than not at the start of the year or maybe he'll put a few others on there ars3 as a result of his wild riding unless he changes a bit to adapt to the bigger faster bikes.I'm not a big fan of his if Im honest, regardless of his huge talent but it will be interesting to see how he goes in Moto GP and he could very well shock everyone and be a revalation next year, the bigger bikes may suit him well.Just hope he uses his head.more than his heart from now on and calms down a bit.

MotoGP » Valentino Rossi: 'It will be a strange weekend'

@Dave - you cant put 100% effort into a machine that wont allow you to ride at 100% effort.Rossi rides the bike for the last time on Sunday and is back on the Yamaha on Monday,if his laps times are a second faster on Monday then he proves his point. He knows if he pushes the Ducati that extra second or so a lap faster he will crash and possibly get hurt, that bike isn't up to the job.And as for money,Ducati have made far more from Rossi than want they paid him which came from marlboro anyway.

MotoGP » Lucky escape for Lorenzo

The race was stopped at the point the weather conditions started to become too dangerous to continue and those that dont agree must be blind o think otherwise.Several riders crashed on the previous 2 laps and then the rain came down harder.Lorenzo locked the front and almost crashed whilst stood up straight,it was the correct decision.End of argument..If the race had continued Stoner could well have passed Jorge,he could also have crashed in the process due to the conditions and bolloxed his leg for good.Again,it was the right decision to stop the race.
