MotoGP » Dorna boss talks MotoGP, WSBK

All the problems with Moto GP started when Dorna ditched the 500cc two strokes in favour of 4 strokes and then knackered it for good changing to 800s.This class lost its identity when they lost the 2 strokes. At least those bikes were cheap to use for teams and privateers could run a production bike with the aid of a van and a mate. Now you need millions just to run a private team, and as for CRT,totall waste of time.Get rid of those and put a dozen or more 500 two strokes on the grid like 10 yrs ago,at least the 500s didnt get lapped !!

MotoGP » Rossi last to eighth after Rea tangle

@bigphil sp2 you're talking bollox man ! It was clear to see Rossi came up against Rea faster as he had 2 riders directly infront of him punching a bigger hole in the air and when Rea braked he moved across infront of Rossi,he didnt know Rossi was there.Rossi deserves some credit for getting back behind Rea by the end.And if age is a factor why are the 40 year olds winning world championships in WSB which is clearly closer racing at almost the same pace ? Rossi is 33,thats young these days.Roberts snr retired at 32,riders now dont hit their peak until that age usually, unless youre Rossi etc.

MotoGP » Lorenzo wins Misano, Rossi second, Pedrosa misery

Great ride by Rossi, looked more like.his old self on the updated Duke.If he goes that well at the next race then i guess you can say the upgrades are working.Bit of a strange race but great to see Rossi up the front.Second into the first corner and able to pull away.towards the end, something he couldnt do on th the Duke before.Forgive me on full stops and typos, sending this via my phone which requires fingers like ET to write anything on,bloody thing !!

MotoGP » Ben Spies, Iannone secure 2013 MotoGP seats

So Spies gave up a full factory Yamaha for a non factory Ducati ? Crazy move.Ducati dont give their factory team regular upgrades so he's screwed.Must be a huge paycheck for him or perhaps he's just treading water until Suzuki make a comeback.Either way, things must have been seriously bad for him at Yamaha.Lets hope he gels with the Duke and does well on it.Cant see it but time will tell.
