MotoGP » NEW! King Kenny's YZR500 return at Laguna Seca

Wow,that bike still looks and sounds impressive and Kenny still looks good on it.God i miss the 500cc 2-stroke bikes ! Those were real race bikes.I can't believe Kenny is nearly 60yrs old.To think i saw him race in 1981,82 and 83 suddenly makes me feel my age, though in my defense i was only 12 yrs old in 1983 !! Happy days and i remember them like they were yesterday.Remembering Kenny wheelie over the finish line at the British GP at Silverstone in 83 will live with me forever.Awesome rider.

BSB » Kiyonari: Difficult to win title now

If Kiyo did manage to win the title now it would be a joke because he wouldn't deserve it the way he has ridden this year. This new points system is rubbish. If they want to make the championship closer maybe they should change the points system so that the second placed rider gets one point less than the winner and third gets one point less than second and so on from the start of the season to the end of it.If the winner gets 15 points for a win then the 15th place rider gets 1 point. That would be better than a 6 rider showdown right at the end of the season.

WSBK » Toseland forced to quit racing due to injury

Totally gutted for JT,the last couple of years have been pretty tough for him and this just about takes the p*ss.Such a shame that this latest injury proves to be the end of his career, was hoping he would bounce back from another nightmare season and be competitive again next season.Best of luck to him for the future,it's been fun supporting him over the last 10 years or so and a shame it has to end like this at still a young age. It's always a choker when ever any of these guy's are forced to retire through injury when they still have the potential to still be competitive.

WSBK » Melandri: We could have been killed

It was crazy to race in those conditions. The riders should have started to come back in once it got too bad and they would have had to stop the race.In the 1970s the riders back then would simply not go out and boycott a race if the track was thought to be unsafe in any way and in doing so the FIM and ACU had to listen to the riders and changed because of it and so did the tracks.Maybe these days there is too much corporate money involved so riders are too scared to boycott anything.Having said that though you'd think the organisers would have had the sense to know it was dangerous and red flagged it as soon as the rain got heavier.

BSB » Kiyonari ‘relieved’ to keep title dreams alive

This new points system is cr*p.Kiyo doesn't deserve to be in with a shout be default the way he has ridden for most of the year.I thought the whole point of a championship was the winner is the one that gets the most points during an entire season by constantly finishing high up the field in EVERY race. With this sh1tty system the may as well just have the season 6 races long.
