BSB » Brookes bounces back with Cadwell podium

I know Brookes has had a couple of "mental moments" in the past but i still reckon his pass on Rutter was a fair move.Yes it was hard but he was on the inside and on the racing line and Rutter didn't see him and turned in on him.I'd say it was more of a racing accident than an unfare dangerous move.Like i said before,if it was any other track other than Cadwell then the outcome for Rutter would probably have been different.Maybe i'm on my own with that view but I've watched it a couple of times again today and it was a hard but firm move.Shame Rutter was injured and out of it for the remainder of the weekend though. All in all i think It's a weekend to forget.RIP Ben :-(

BSB » Laverty secures shootout spot with win

Brookes pass was hard but i don't think it was that bad a move,he had the line to make the pass but Rutter didn't see him and had to take to the grass which due to the nature of that section of circuit doesn't leave a lot of room to do so and unfortunately had to lay the bike down, hopefully he isn't too badly hurt.Personally i think Cadwell is too tight in those parts for bikes as fast as those. The run off area's can't be improved around there so it remains very narrow. They have made a few safety improvements there but that was only because Kagayama nearly died there in 2003.That alone should have raised questions as to whether or not it's a good idea to race such fast bikes on such a narrow track.

MotoGP » Poll: Should MotoGP go to Japan?

If it's safe to go then so be it but to me it makes more sense to put the Japanese GP off for one year to allow more time to get a full understanding of the situation and also allow time for everything to calm down so soon after a major natural disaster. They're still having massive aftershocks in the region some 5 months on from the first earthquake and as i understand it that nuclear reactor is still leaking radioactive waste into the sea.Putting it off for a year will also save arguments between the riders that don't want to go,the organisers and the manufacturers.Things must still be bad out there, the Honda plant in swindon are still on a 2 day week because they can't get the parts from Japan, nobody seems to give a rats about those staff on low wages until this situation gets better.

MotoGP » Crutchlow crashes again, laments front-end struggles

This lack of testing through the season rule is killing Moto GP for rookies who need all the track time they can get to gain experience on these bikes, especially if they've come from WSB.This rule should be changed back to allow teams and riders to test as and when they need to.I know it's all to do with cost cutting but some of the far away races cost more money to teams than extra testing,if dorna wanted to save money that much they should shorten the season, fly the teams and riders to less far away locations and maybe hold 2 races per meeting like in WSB.I'm sure if Ducati could have tested more by now Hayden and Rossi would be challenging for the podium most races as would suzuki. That would make the racing more entertaing with more teams being competative,it's the same 4 riders each race as it is.Dorna need to think about what they're doing more because since they've taken over, Moto GP has been sliding downhill and there cost cutting hasn't helped.18 riders in this class is a joke
