Competition this year is tough, Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo, Pedrosa will always occupy the podium (in the dry). That leaves everyone else battling for 5th, and Dovi has been the best at this (when not crashing).

As JT hints, everyone is waiting on Lorenzo and Yamaha, once that is settled then things will slowly fall in place as they go down the pecking order amongst riders. JT is a good guy, he is very focused, but with the amount of rides being so limited in GP, his seat is quite a hot commodity. We just have to wait and see who wants to ride next year. I hope JT doesn't put all the pressure on himself as he did at last years GP. As an American and MotoGP fan, I wish luck to JT at your home.

Donington should be a real hoot. With Camier, Ellison, and Andrews coming in from BSB (did I miss anyone else?), Rea and Byrne coming off a good weekend, and you know Haslam and Sykes will be hanging it out. Wish I could be there. Pray it stays dry.

With all the extra local talent added in as well as current Brit riders in WSBK giving their best, the round at Donny could be the best of the year. It's always been a favorite track of mine. I've been following the BSB series for the first time this year from the States, outstanding racing so far. Good luck to Camier, Ellison, and Andrews (am I missing anyone else wild carding?).

I agree with the comment about Simon Andrews, he is doing a great job in BSB on a damn close to stock Kawak (no electronics). Hacking, Morais, and Andrews seem to be the only guys in the world that can get anything out of the green machine. Andrews should get a shot at the Dony round if Hacker can't make it, at the least wild card it. I'm sure we are bound to see plenty of wildcard BSB guys this year, really hope Camier and Ellison decide to race the Yamaha's vs the WSBK boys.

Good to see BV pick up a ride and nice on Ten Kate to help out their countryman. BV had a good 2nd half of last years season, he definitely deserves to be on the grid.

I am a big Haga fan and would be very delighted to see him win the overall. But seriously people, stop saying the season is over. I want a season full of close battles more then anything. So at this point I am happy to see Rea, Fabrizio, Haslam, and anyone else start running at the front.

Monza is a beautiful track, the chicanes are terrible. The number of mistakes caused in these "speed traps" is enough evidence the should be redesigned.

Fabrizio and Sykes both showing they got what it takes to run up front. Ducati and Yamaha both have got their bikes sorted out very well and these two guys have proven it. Now if only Ten Kate and Suzuki can get sorted we will be back to our massive multi rider battles for the lead. Hoping Monza is a hoot!

Great to see both Rea and Ten Kate get back to the front. They have a great line up of racers on the team and have just been dealing with too many issues. Hope they get a great result. Go Rea.

This is Melandri's chance to repair his reputation after what appeared as "giving up" on the Ducati last year. I think all the talk of him wanting out of Ducati during the season last year was not good, but I don't blame him as much now given Hayden's abysmal performance so far. If Melandri can continue to break the top 10 and even better the top 5 he will repair that reputation that was soured on the Ducati. Not to get too far off subject, but I have to wonder, who in their right mind would take the other factory Ducati seat in the future? I could only see Kallio or Gibbers depending on their results, all of this given Hayden has a terrible year of course.

The guy has always shown he has the speed, just the serial crashing has been a problem. Impressed that he is doing so well on the customer Honda, I wonder how much the Ohlins suspension he runs has an effect. In the end great result, granted he was gifted two positions (Lorenzo and Dovi going off), but anything top 5 in MotoGP is outstanding. He beat quite a few factory backed riders hands down. Hopefully LCR will get an extension from Playboy Italia to stay as sponsors, apparently it was only a 2 race deal from what I remember reading. :)
