Competition this year is tough, Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo, Pedrosa will always occupy the podium (in the dry). That leaves everyone else battling for 5th, and Dovi has been the best at this (when not crashing).

As JT hints, everyone is waiting on Lorenzo and Yamaha, once that is settled then things will slowly fall in place as they go down the pecking order amongst riders. JT is a good guy, he is very focused, but with the amount of rides being so limited in GP, his seat is quite a hot commodity. We just have to wait and see who wants to ride next year. I hope JT doesn't put all the pressure on himself as he did at last years GP. As an American and MotoGP fan, I wish luck to JT at your home.

It will be nice to see a smile return to James face, he has been pretty glum lately in interviews. Understandably so with his ongoing issues. Hopefully he can turn this result into some confidence and start having fun again.

I was frustrating watching Laconi closely follow Fabrizio around lap after lap and not make a go at him, especially since it was a podium position. With his statement of it being too risky he must have already been riding on edge at race end. Still great to see him happy and doing so well. Just another example to show the world how terrible Kawasaki are at racing. What rider in their right mind would ever take a Kawasaki deal, it's been proven time and time again to be a career killer.

The Ducati is down on power? That must be why Haga had such a hard time going from 13th starting on the grid to winning race 1 and almost race 2. Haga said it himself, in race 2 his tires had gone off. This happens to Haga all the time, he pushes the bike, but he also gets the results. As a note, Biaggi chose a softer tire in race 2 and he also said this is why he faded towards the end of the race. That said, the beauty of WSBK is the control tire, no special Rossi or Stoner tires. We will see how a control tire plays out in MotoGP however, so far Rossi/Stoner seem happy with them.
