MotoGP » Valentino Rossi 'very worried' after 'negative' test

Two things to sum it all up. The bike is not sorted and Rossi has lost the edge. New bike, new design, new engine, new tires, it's all going to take time. Rossi's mojo is dependent on his success, 2011 was a complete failure, testing has been a complete failure, his mojo is gone. It's going to take a lot from the factory and Rossi's own drive and desire to bring this thing back to the level it was.

BSB » Anthony West secures BSB seat

Wow, BSB is shaping up to be the best series for racing this year. I am an American that has been watching BSB for a few years now and I love the racing. I've been watching MotoGP, WSBK, and AMA for a number of years as well, and I can honestly say the coverage done on BSB is probably the best of all the moto series I watch. They get into the garages and make the team owners part of the drama. During the race they cover all of the race and not just what's happening at the front. The commentary done by Burnicle and Whitham is also in my opinion the best, as they know all of the riders and whats going on with them. I wish some other series would take a lesson from the BSB coverage, it's top notch entertainment. Looking fwd to a great season.

BSB » Padgetts Honda steps up, signs Scassa, Lowry

BSB has already been great the past few years, but this year looks to be even more stellar. Clearly the proximity to European mainland is a big reason why BSB attracts so many guys that are ex GP, WSBK, WSS, etc. It helps that it's close to home for so many riders. Looking forward to another great season, too bad the organizers don't offer coverage of the series to world wide tv or internet customers. I will be finding the series thru other means.

MotoGP » Checa: I can't say much…

As much as I hate to say it, I don't think Ducati is going to improve much come next year. Too many changes, too fast. Switching to twin spar alum, switching to 1000cc, too many variables and not enough time. My guess, is Ducati will go thru a lot of changes during the year and if they get it right they may start getting up into the podium by mid to late season. There is no way Ducati/Rossi are going to be winning races up front. Perhaps I will eat my words, we will see. At least from the prototype/development side of things it will be an interesting season.

MotoGP » Stefan Bradl chooses MotoGP number

Retiring numbers is idiotic. Show respect for the riders by letting the numbers carry on and be used by other riders. By doing this they will be remembered more than by having some number be missing. No one in the future is going to notice that 46, 65, 58, 27, or whatever numbers are not being ran. Rather if someone in the future runs say 58, we will all remember Marco. My 2 cents.
