WSBK » Biaggi reaches 100 not out at Silverstone

If he's going fast in the practice and quali sessions we can expect to see him up front. But if practice/quali is so so and the setup doesn't look good I'd expect him to side with being conservative, and just finishing the races with little trouble. Even if not on the podium, just to maintain the points. Max is a smart rider, thinking of the big picture. Rea for example is the opposite, he is win it or bin it, which certainly can be exciting, but not good for an overall championship. The real question will be if Haslam and Suzuki during all this time off have come up with a solution to win. I'm guessing yes, and expect to see a Haslam double. One things for sure, Silverstone rocks.

MotoGP » Abraham confirms MotoGP graduation on a Ducati

Although he didn't get hired into GP by an existing team, another rider and team is certainly welcome. That said, it's doubtful he will be anything but another back marker. The guy certainly tries hard and works hard, but he's never had a podium in any class. Yes there are more deserving people out there, but someone has to pay, and if he's got the financial backing, be it from family or sponsorship, it's still financial backing. If anything this is a good sign. If Cardion can get established as a solid team they could always get other riders in the future and stick around like your Gresini's, LCR's, etc.

WSBK » Vermeulen ‘not 100 per cent but improving’

Even though there were promises of a new bike and more commitment from Kawasaki in 2011, I still have to ask, why oh why did you sign up for the Green career killer Vermeulen? Chris is a fantastic racer and a top bloke, he deserves better then the crap effort that Kawasaki has managed year after year. I hope things improve but to me, its just wasted years on a shee-ite bike.

WSBK » Toseland out to maintain momentum

Lets face it, some guys are just made to Superbike race (and not MotoGP), we've seen this plenty of times before, and JT is one of them. It's not a bad thing per se, as personally I like WSBK racing more then what GP has become. Now that he has been back to real racing and getting his WSBK groove on, we are seeing a much happier and relaxed JT. Wish him the best of luck at Monza.

MotoGP » Barbera: Until I race, I won’t believe I’m in MotoGP

A few years back I joked that I would stop watching GP it Barbera were to join the big class, and yet here he is. I just can't find myself to stop watching. How soon until he lets his emotions get the best of him and he starts pulling lame brain moves. Maybe he has matured? Martinez wanted a GP team, had a Spanish sponsor and needed a Spanish rider, I guess Barbera was his only decent choice.

MotoGP » Aoyama blasts testing rules that penalise rookies

I have a feeling the new batch of rookies, former 250 champs Aoyama and Simoncelli, along with former 250 front runners Bautista and Barbara are going to help demystify the notion that 250 riders have some sort of advantage coming into GP because the 800's were so similar to riding a 250. I honestly don't see any of these guys getting a podium in their first year let alone a win as Lorenzo did. Of course the next excuse will be that they didn't have the advantage of going directly to a factory team like Lorenzo or Pedrosa had. I thought Aoyama was all about overcoming obstacles, like how he won the 250 championship on a supposedly "undeveloped" Honda? Adapt and overcome, show your skill.
