My, my... haven't Ferrari fans gone quiet in this thread? Don't tell me they actually realise 'their' High and Mighty team is above the law?
Mad Max needs to pack his bags and **** off to Italy where I'm sure John Toad and Co would welcome him as a fully-fledged team member...
McLaren, not to mention every single non-Ferrari F1 fan, has every right to feel abused with what's gone on this season.

Long road back continues in karts for Clark.

Absolutely with you on that one, Sean. The incident was terrible and it'd be great to see David get back 'in the game' sooner rather than later...

Australian Grand Prix to move venues?

Something tells me an F1 car wouldn't quite handle the Dipper on the Mountain...
Jagworth, the 'international motor sport complex' you dream about is something I mentioned in an earlier post on this topic - that's what the I-METT thing is between Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Thing is, though, it seems a dream is all that is. Usual story here; needs government support and it ain't coming...

Hehe... and how far from civilisation is Wakefield? And for 'dustbowl', I think if you were to look at the dictionary, you'd see that it is another way of saying 'Queensland Raceway'.
Actually, I think dLegend raises a valid point; if the Island is good for V8s and MotoGP, why not for F1? F1 cars would be mega around that place...

The problem as far as I can see, Xander, is that bugger all people turn up to motorsport events in NSW, Bathurst aside. Queensland and Victorian events are far better attended on the whole. Oh, and there's no truly suitable facility...

Well yes, if all else fails, take the circus back to Adelaide! Maybe F1 could act as a support category to the V8s on Clipsal weekend...

Nice one Sean! I like your thinking. Oh, and F1 cars minus traction control as of next year, as they will be, would be quite the spectacle!
On a more serious note, there have been whispers in the Aussie racing mags that Bernie apparently contacted Gold Coast organisers about moving in once Champ Car's contract there expires. Not sure how well an F1 car would handle being thrown around the rough old streets of Surfers. Then, of course, there's this proposed 'I-METT' thing...

Who will partner Lewis in 2008?

As an Aussie I have to say, "WoW". What of Webber? It's high time Mark had a decent set of wheels in F1. Also has prior history with Merc. And he's a true racer, much in the same vain as Hamilton. Would be an interesting battle, I'm sure... Otherwise, I think Kovalainen would make a great addition to the team. He's proven he's quick, with a great second half of the season, and now has a year under his belt. Besides, how welcome would either current Renault driver feel, given what their boss has just done...?

Results stand, Kimi keeps title

I'm absolutely with Bruce on this one - team orders are supposedly banned in F1. Not that I've seen the race (only the first few laps; was in the wee hours of the morning in Oz) but at the start Massa was flying. No way Kimi would have passed him if all bets were off...
