38 agree.
After this year Spies will have "EXPERIENCE" on practically all of the tracks the MotoGP guys run on. Lets take a quick look at what he has done on the 2 tracks he actually had experience on this year... Complete Anhilitation over guys who have raced there for years! If you are vain enough to believe that this kid wont be competitive in MotoGP you need to snap to, before you wet the bed!
The one clear message he has sent to every team owner in the world is that he can adapt rapidly to a new bike, team, tires and tracks at the drop of a hat, and be the fastest guy at nearly every freaking one of them! That kids, is lightning in a bottle and all of them want it, price no object!

Pedrosa wins Valencia MotoGP finale.
Well... not quite what I was expecting today. 1) Who forgot to plug in Casey s tire warmers?
2) Pedrosa put a whipping on the Yamaha boys today! 3) Yamaha has to be pretty happy to have 3 of their bikes in the top 7. 4) The most exciting race was for 7th! 5) Spies did better than I thought he would and made a few fans and friends in the process. Cool to watch him progress throughout the race. 7) Nicky Hayden races to another Top 5 and Kenlucky kid didn't even slam him for it. 8) Herve Poncharal will not sleep tonight!

Casey Stoner crashes out on warm-up lap!

I got nothing! Not what I was expecting at all. I saw him pull to the side in turn one and let everyone else go by then WHAM!
Suppose it could happen to anyone! Just not his year.

Toni Elias to Moto2.

Sad casualty of the state of the worlds economy and its detrimental affect on MotoGP. He should do well on the Moto2 bike!

Now that they are going back to 1000cc engines for 2012 he has to be a happy camper!

Suzuki sunk by cold temperatures.
2 disagree.
The article I mentioned is titled Captain America in the December issue of CW. I ride a Suzuki and will forever be a Suzuki and Kevin Scwhantz fan. But these guys are making it hard! I still say Kevin is the guy to turn this team around!

RE: And according to CS, and no one else, he was sposedly ill. Most likely he just can't handle pressure well. With no pressure he's fast. Posted by Schnertz in California Most ill conceived statement I have yet read today. Did you happen to watch the Philip Island Race? Rossi tried to pressure him all race long and what was the result? So much for your "Pressure theory"! Stoners Doctors were the ones that told him to lay up for a while. Certainly looks to me like it helped! People like you who will stop at nothing to make someone look bad just to further their own cause repulse me.

Spies has to be so glad he didn't wind up here. I was reading Denning's comments in the latest Cycle world. He states that Suzuki and all the other members of the MSMA agreed contractually with Dorna to "participate" until 2011! This is why Suzuki's particpation has seemed like mere "Attendance", thats just what it is. Sickening!
