MotoGP » Qatar MotoGP - Saturday practice times

A speed advantage at Qatar? Where have we seen this before? I wouldn't write the Yamaha's off just because they are once again down on speed. Throughout the pre-season the Tech-3 guys have lauded the increase in Low end torque over previous versions. The real story will be how well these same engines run with 3 full race weekends on them! Maybe that's partly why Stoner hasn't really been running that many laps here?

WSBK » Crutchlow scorches to second straight pole

Great Pole run by Cal. But do not bet against Haga at this place. He even had Spies covered here last year. And that took some doing. I look for Haslam to quietly let this one sort itself out and podium twice. There will be a lot of frustrated guys trying to make up for lost ground and Valencia is no place for that. More than one championship has been lost at Valencia.

MotoGP » Aoyama blasts testing rules that penalise rookies

This is one of those chicken or the egg scenario's. Which would you rather have, seat time on the bike, or track time on the tracks your going to race on? The 250 guys have all raced most of these tracks before, Spies has a teeny bit more seat time than them on the new bike, Electronics, brakes and tires. Spies is a bit of a whiz at picking up new tracks quickly so that has obviously played to his strengths thus far. They are all on new rubber(to them), they are all new to the Carbon Brakes, and Electronics so that is an equalizer. In one weeks time we will know for sure who has adapted best.
