MotoGP » Will John Hopkins make Suzuki MotoGP return?

@ Danny boy Motogp is not about bikes that make it into sales to the public or to fans. Its like saying F1 cars are predicessors to future cars. UMM not going to happen! Again Hopper is a talent but if you where a manufactorer in Motogp do you want a guy riding your bike and always crashing? I know I dont! Hopper is a developement rider thats all he will ever be and so what if he was the best GSVR rider.. Does that mean Kenny Robert Jr. should come out of retirement because he was the last Suzuki champ? LOL NO right ?

MotoGP » Will John Hopkins make Suzuki MotoGP return?

@ Danny Boy ok so in 10-11 yrs he has done nothing. He was has been in the elite for over 7yrs and the best he ever done was two podiums.. whoopdy doo.. You said it best though he is a good development rider! Thats all he will ever be in MotoGp! Spies accomplised that in his first real season. Now What! Mat Mladin put it best, Talent doesnt bring championships, riders that want to be champion become champions! He even said that Suzuki wanted him to go to MotoGp and he refused to go cuz the bike was crap!

BSB » John Hopkins to BSB a ‘done-deal’

@ Zhughes No matter about racing in BSB being in air fields cuz not all their tracks are like that. AMA is no better with an acception of a few tracts being up to par with WSBK or MotoGP level.. Daytona sucks, Fontana sucks, Topeka sucks.. C'mon.. dude.. I am American and I follow BSB AMA WSBK Candian SBK Australian SBK, most of the endurance racing and I try no to be an expert cuz I am not. And I do agree with you he will do well in BSB and I hope he wins some races.

BSB » John Hopkins to BSB a ‘done-deal’

OMG.. some of you guys like bashing Hoppers character. Lets stick to the topic pls! I have followed Hopper since his real young days here in the AMA then to MotoGP to WSBK and back to AMA. We all had this discussion about him before when he left WSBK to go back to the AMA. This topic is not new, the only diff is that he is going to AMA to BSB. He lived in England so this would be good for him. Ya he is a good rider, talented all that, but he is no SPIES, MLADIN, REYNOLDS, EDWARDS, BAYLIS, the list continues. The true fact about Hopper is he will always be a talented rider but will never be a champion.

WSBK » Melandri WSBK debut in jeopardy?

Im sure Marco will be ready. He is still a very good rider and I am sure with more of a even playing field he will show his skills. I was not happy with his actions last year on the Honda always bashing his Manufacturer and giving excuses for feel, this is why I prefered that Yamaha stick to someone that is currently on a Yamaha, someone like Josh Hayes, simply an opinion.

MotoGP » Promising start for new Suzuki era

Ok enough with this crap Alvaro is a good rider and he wanted to come to MotoGP and show his talent and he has done that. However, Suzuki remains with the stupid motor and wacked out chassis. They need to stick to what they know best, an inline 4 ! Stop make dumb decisions on riders and make the logical ones! Change the motor and chassis and you will see them win! I don't care what anyone says on here, so what if they have had podiums they need wins and with that comes riders that want to be champions not contenders!
