MotoGP » Poll: Should MotoGP go to Japan?

"If your boss was to walk up to you in your work place and tell you you had to go there, would you have the same attitude." My boss tells me to deploy to tasks and situations that are "genuinely" hazardous on a regular basis. In these situations we carefully weigh up "ALL" the "FACTS" before we take calculated risk based decisions. So would I go in this particular scenario? Of course I would. I also know of colleagues who deployed to Japan in the aftermath of the tsunami during the height of the nuclear incident... so I can categorically say they had that same "attitude". Not all of us are wrapped up in your synthetic nanny state mentality... and it's a good job for the likes of you that are, that the likes of we are not!

MotoGP » 'Impressive' pole for walking wounded Lorenzo

Love him or hate him, no one can deny that's what champions are made of... this fella's grown on me in the last year or two and he's looking every inch a worthy successor to the GOAT imho. After eons ruling the roost, Rossi knew deep down that his motivation for such hard battles was on the wane and joining the hopeless Red Team was to be the perfect semi-retirement.

MotoGP » MotoGP officials explain Tomizawa medical treatment

life can be saved. As a specialist extrication technician in the Fire & Rescue Service I can vouch that when necessary, both we and all attending medics, operate in this way at EVERY serious incident we attend. Now that's cleared up, the rights and wrongs of the race not being stopped are an irrelevant side-show at this point, and can (and no doubt will) be argued at leisure!
