MOTOGP » Edwards improvises to boost CRT status

"There will come a day when the CRT platform is developed and Edwards will reap the benefits from heading into such territory courageously."@Realist There is nothing courageous using a "bad" ECU when better ones are available. NO CRT entry has been courageous. None have even got to the level of SBK. Turn up the wick, blow some motors, run out of fuel. Come on boys, grow some cojones.

MOTOGP » Spec ECU for CRT MotoGP bikes in 2013

"Does anyone know how a spec ECU will cope with Aprilia V4s, inline fours of at least three types.?" @rick65 Easy. Aftermarket ECUs (like PI, Motec etc.) already can handle from singles to 12 cylinders (both 2 and 4 stroke). There is a just a sync pulse from crank rotation, this gives position and speed, then the injection/ignition is just mapped to this. Simple.
