MOTOGP » Hayden: It was fun for a couple of laps

There is a bit of delusion going on in the paddock, particulary with tyres. First there is the soft v hard choice. The two guys out in front had the wrong choice. They were still out in front. Those on the hard should have been out in front. Second, if Hayden's bike was up to temp so quick and running so well, why was he not out in front? It was still an off-podium bike even when running well. Calling it like it is.

MOTOGP » Stoner surprised by Jerez victory

Lorenzo did a great job to keep the pressure up on Casey and Jorge admitted to having his own problems, but gee, he looked smooth, scary smooth. Mantequilla. Casey adapted his style toward the end and from the overhead, you could see him park it, pick it up and squirt it out of the corners. Clearly two permanent aliens now (plus part time member Dani).

MOTOGP » Stoner ups the ante on struggling Rossi

A tale of two bikes and two riders. The Honda clearly has a handling issue (chatter) caused by the new rear. Casey rode around it to a great victory in difficult conditions. The Ducati clearly has and has had a handling issue for a long time. Casey rode around it to many victories. Casey may not have the numerical advantage that the GOAT(sic) has, but it is evident there is a huge quality to Casey's victories/championships.

MOTOGP » Stoner ups the ante on struggling Rossi

When I look at the Qualifying times, I look for the 'splits'. Who or where is 1 sec back, 2 sec back. With CRT we have to look at 3 sec back. I also like to compare Moto2/250cc pole to the MotoGP/500cc grid. Jorge and Dani are 1 sec clear of the field. Hayden Crutchlow Stoner are within 0.007sec of each other. Rossi in 13th is over 3 sec behind pole and Marquez would have qual'd just behind him.

MOTOGP » Spies misses qualifying opportunity

"If that is the definition, then MotoGP would be a 3-ring circus with the top 3 winning over and over."@asefi Well actually, the top 3 are the only ones winning over the last few years. I can't see that changing. Going back to 2007, only Rossi, Stoner, Lorenzo and Pedrosa have won more 2 or more GPs. Spies and Dovi have jagged a single win each.
