If he could regularly in point with mediocre Ferrari F60, then he is a 7 times world champion. If he could fight for podium, indeed, he is a super 7 times world champion. If he could win at least 1 race during 2009, what else I could say?

One thing to be sure, he will make the young guns busy to watch out into their car mirror for Scarlet Machine attack driven by Schummy.

I am worried that he will put himself into trouble. With no in between testing allowed and might be extensive upgrade of F60, Felipe performance will be depend in how fast he adapt to. But it will be a historical if he could win his home racing after an accident that just a meter from live time impairability threaten. I hope Ferrari will give him a decent car next year and he is fully fit to challenge and win next year world championship. As Brazil already too long without F1 world champion after Senna.

After see Alonso fight with 2 wins in medio car last year and his spirit to get the most possible with Renault this year, I see him more and more as true champion. I hope next year R30 will good enough to unlock Alonso potential as two times world champion. If Ferrari, Renault, McLaren, Brawn, Red Bull, and Williams is in the same level, then we will know who is the best driver in the world. Is it Massa/Kimi, Alonso, Lewis, Button, Vettel/Webber, or Nico. I believe Nico is also world champion material, He just need good car as Williams is deeply underperform after BMW ties end. Let see if BMW willing to supply machinery again to Williams.

I know your blood is hunger for speed Felipe but I suggest do not do it. It is better to get a rest and do much fitness exercise. Ride Ferrari simulator and get into 2010 championship fight with 200% preparation. Ferrari already reserve your 2010 position.

With 10 years no F1 racing he participate and his viewing of this "dream" opportunity, I believe Badoer will race ready 200% - racing with heart -. I believe also, although Schummy will not in racing, he will be in the pit line to support the team. Ferrari might not win 2009 championship, but I have no doubt that Felipe accident makes this team more solid than ever. Next year, I hope they will have decent car, Scummy full support as test driver, total adviser and strategic planner with fully fit Felipe ready to reclaim world championship.

As Schummy fans since early 90s. I am very disappointed with this decision. But G force pressure on the neck and head from F1 drag force with long distance race on 40 years old injured Schummy will make him so suffer. I understand. I do not want he lost his concentration few laps from finish line due to unstoppable pain and crash his car.

@ DC Forever. All my comments is "IF" but IMHO Schummy will not so hungry to win anymore. Instead help his team mate to be a world champion is seems very good for F1 "Drama".

A few days ago, I see a comment of "how about all team are given a practice day in this summer break?". I think it is the best solution. It is breaking the rule indeed but it will given all team the same opportunity to test their car. Ferrari will put Schummy to test the F60. But if I am a F1 team owner, I will not into this solution also. Because, Schummy - my favorite driver since his entrance to F1 in early 90s - is far too genius. He will not only test F60, he will give input in the setup and calibrate new aero component. In this case all other team might be so worried.

It might be a boring race but sure I am happy that Webber still have the energy to win his first ever F1 win. Congratulation Webber!

If BrawnGP could maintain this performance and this is the real pace of BrawnGP. I hope Jenson will be in top fight for world champion. The only think that BrawnGP needs is full support from Merc. I wonder if in later years BrawnGP-Mercedes is more competitive than McLaren-Mercedes, would Merc give a full support to McLaren. If they are intent to change their full support to other team then McLaren should worried from know. It will hard for them to make superb car and Lewis will be in trouble with higher probability of he could not match Michael Schumacher record. IMHO!
