MotoGP » FIM launches review after Rossi-Stoner incident

By insulting Rossi and the Spanish Marshalls Stoner has alienated the two nations that have the largest influence in his choice of profession. Not very clever particularly as his team's major backer is...spanish. Talking about winning friends and influencing people. Stoner's response was as bad as the marshalls and he should be charged with bringing the sport into disripute if the marshalls are to be chastised. Anyone remember the last time Stoner was on a Honda? Lost the front end on an over eager pass and took out Gibernau on the Ducati..."let those without blame cast the first stone..r"

WSBK » Vermuelen to skip Portimao tests

Surely just a case of getting a big needle and drawing off the fluid to restore movement? After all, this is motorcyle racing not footyball! Gives Birdy a bit of a, win-win situation. If the ZX10R doesn't win straight away, Vermin can be blamed, if it does, Birdy can take the credit for insisting on keeping Sykes and developing the bike with him.

WSBK » Edwards: Ducati quit over regulations

Christ there are some ignorant, uninformed footyball fans on this forum! These post however are peppered with knowledgeable insights and, to those I don't have to explain the inherent disadvantages of inertia by running a (big piston) twin as apposed to any other variation of engine configuration. To those who suggest Ducati (or any other manufacturer) run an inline four to stay competitive, GO TO A RACE MEETING. Then you will understand.
