STOP PRESS: Loeb wins Wales Rally GB.

fanbloodytastic the man is THE MAN. Illuded on previous attemps, kept his brief and then decided it was his anyway. Magnificent. Rossi, just tremendous effort for a novice in awful conditions. Well driven. sensible and I hope this will encourage him to come this way in two years time. Good for the sport too. Suzuki, finally returned some decent results well done. Petter could have done better. I really do think its time to retire.

Wales Rally GB: SS17 - Loeb again.
Rossi up another place. Top 10 still on. Loeb is feeling horny today, never won this event, wants to put that right probably and at the same time take the manufacturers crown. The man is impossible!

Richards: Tyre rules to blame for GB mess.
1 disagrees.
swb6699. As an ex rally driver and having competed in world events, and old enough to know more than you. The cars today are very different from days or your and 80 BHP so dont talk rot. Spectators came to see entertainment and drivers participate for the challenge (privateers) and the pros do it for biz. Sweden rally and even Monte you can use studs. I live in Russia now and use studs for 5 months of the year. Yesterdays some stages needed studs, then I wouldnt have wasted 3000 pounds to see bugger all. FIA wants to stop meddling and let us enjoy the sport to the full. I used 66 tyres on a Corrolla GTI in the Acropolis - my choice of whatever. FIA is screwing this format as it has F1

Rallying must not be allowed to stgnate like F1. I spent a great deal of money to come from Russia to watch this event. All I managed was to reach the entrance to one stage which had been cancelled and then the end of another after the flying finish which meant about 3000 pounds for nothing.
