F1 » Honda hit by FIA engine loophole

So a new engine provider which is already behind the competition is going to be irreparably disadvantaged by ambiguous wording of the rules... Again It astonishes me that in this sport where 100's of millions of pounds are spent annually year after year they can never seem to get someone astute enough to NOT leave glaring holes in the wording of the rules that are obvious even to a layman like myself. It almost seems deliberate As it stands should Honda even bother turning up his year ?

WSBK » PTR scraps WSBK plans, looks to BSB

IMHO neither championship needs them. PTR are one of those teams that have made a business out of going racing but in the most negative way. £100,000 or so I hear they would ask you to bring and more often than not they end up with a 'pay your way' rider that isn't world level and wasting petrol (not Kennedy) and even then the level of equipment is questionable. I don't like buckmaster - he seems to be making a living out of the riders because it's easier than finding sufficient sponsorship. The sport needs to survive but not like this...

WSBK » Double points, extra races for final rounds?

Wow ! Can't help but feel this championship has been a bit of a non starter this year mostly because of dorna. Anti trust anyone ??? I mean it doesn't even feel like a world championship. With several gapping breaks on the calender, some so long that I personally feel I lose interest as any excitement dies down with the SIX WEEKS or so gaps in between it devalues the whole show it feels like a club event. Yet a couple of years ago it was often the most exciting racing you would find in any championship with the tightest competition between riders and teams, plus the most manufacturers for a long time. Oh how quickly things can change.

WSBK » Biaggi restores authority, Haslam struggles

Nice to see people attack like vultures as soon as a guy has a couple of bad races. Its pretty much standard procedure on here Leon was mr consistent up until now, but he's had a tough couple of races and now some want to write him off. People were saying the same about jonny at miller and misano, but he's shown that that with hard work you can find the top box again. It just goes to show how hot the pace is, even when u have small problems you can go from P1 to P15 Anyone with half a clue Knows that Leon will do the same Jonny, fight through, and be back the front in no time.

WSBK » Twin-cylinder bikes given weight parity

WTF... already ? are they just gonna keep changing it on a race by race basis or what ? I agree they should keep an eye on it for the sake of parity, but im not sure the FIM should change things just by looking at the standings at certain points in the season as there are many many other factors as to the reason for their performances. The term Knee jerk comes to mind. Call me old fashioned but i don't think that it is the best way to determine which type of machine has an advantage

MotoGP » Tech 3 'disaster' as Spies falls, Edwards struggles

Unlucky Spies....But damn it! Youve lost me valuable points in the fantasy league. But i wont transfer you, i know you'll come good at mugello and start getting back to knocking on the door of the top 4. Edwards needs to get his act together, IMO It would seem he's given up already, i think he's resigned to the fact that spies will always be that bit faster. But time will tell on that one
