F1 » What we learned at the Australian Grand Prix

I have been a fan of F1 for decades now. I did not research what the new engines would sound like beforehand simply waiting to watch the first race and decide for myself. It surprises me personally that the lack of sound has such a negative impact on my interest. I can't put it into words but the sound of these engines is just boring! It felt like I was watching a lesser formula and not the top tier. I just don't know if there will be many early mornings or late nights watching F1 races any more. It's just not that exciting.

F1 » Horner: Red Bull will act differently at Hockenheim

One thing to consider, not that I necessarily agree but.... these teams spent hundreds of millions of dollars or pounds per year. They own the cars, the equipment the staff, everything. If they choose to give one of their paid staff (driver) a certain piece of equipment then so be it, it's their decision to make and they have every right. Having said that, I really think Mark has gotten crappy treatment this race and of course Turkey.

F1 » From sleeping in 'an old brothel' to king of Monaco

I'm happy for him personally, as others have said, he's paid his dues for sure. I never pegged him as WDC material quite honestly. I will say though that this really is all about the Red Bull car, which is totally dominating the rest of the pack. He and Vettel are so equally matched it's really a toss-up between them to see who can outqualify their teammate.
