F1 » FIA makes Monaco circuit changes

The best change would be to move the whole thing to Paul Ricard. Like to see them try and get their yachts in the car park. French GP has never been the same since it moved from there, especially the old long straight version. Seriously they should just make the whole thing a qualifying only event, and award the points at 2pm on Saturday. The is no race as such.

MotoGP » Simoncelli opens up – and is not afraid to offend...

It's called getting yourself noticed. He has succeeded. And being offensive is just being a character. Er, no, its just being offensive. Would you get away with offending female posters on this site just because they were 'girls', and say, hey, it's OK, I'm just being a character ? Easy to guess which posters on this site have girl/womenfriends, and come to that, lives away from a keyboard.

F1 » McLaren: Turbo move, KERS return right for F1

The next F1 engine will be 1.8 litre turbo, probably stock-block derived, with an energy recovery system of some type. There will also be a provision for other fuels, like diesel and non-fossil. Not saying that is what I want, but that is what will happen. It's called the future, and if motorsport is to survive further into the 21st century we are all going to have to get used to it. The days of the 'big banger' V8's is coming to an end, although 2.4 litres ain't very big. Even the Aussies will have to face up to it ! To think I used to watch the 7 litre Ford Galaxie's and Chevvy Camaro's thundering around Brands all those years ago !

F1 » Hamilton's aggression has 'woken other drivers up'

Mark - I have been watching all sorts of motor sport for over 45 years and seen my share of people dying, thank you. It's a long list. Jo Siffert for one died 10 meters in front of me at Brands Hatch. It was awful. If you think I watch motor sport to see people get killed then you have no idea what you are talking about. Nobody was going to get hurt because of what happened in the pits in China. If there had been people about then they wouldn't have been going at it wheel to wheel there. If's and but's. It didn't happen. Like I said, if you are spooked by that sort of thing, why do you watch it ? Everything has to be sanitised to suite you.

F1 » Hamilton's aggression has 'woken other drivers up'

I thought it was called motor RACING ? Isn't that what Lewis is doing ? If you want boring F1, then keep penalising him to stop him taking chances, trying to overtake, going for the gap. I know I'd rather watch Lewis than Barrichello or some of the others who'd prefer to wait all day for someone to fall off. I wonder why those who reckon he is dangerous got interested in motor racing in the first place ? Perhaps they just like the colours.

F1 » KERS set for 2011 return?

I suggest you look on BBC Sport website and its F1 section, as Andrew Benson writes about what he has heard will be happening to F1 engines in the next few years. He basically contends that the FIA is looking to 1.8 litre turbos using no more than 100 litres of fuel per race, and further into the future, hybrid and green options. Interesting stuff, but for me you can't beat a big V8 !

F1 » Schumacher 'could have won' in Australia, insists Haug

He COULD HAVE won, sure - Chandhok COULD HAVE won. If I'd been there I COULD HAVE won. What is COULD HAVE ? It's like all these post that go 'If this... If that ...' What's the point. If William The Conqueror had lost the battle of Hasting, if the Nazis has invaded the Soviet Union two months earlier, if my parent's had never met. But it didn't happen, so why bother argueing ? I've always got questions, me !
