MotoGP » Lorenzo out of Australian MotoGP, Stoner on brink

Can anyone confirm whether or not they found the piece of severed finger? If so, has the possibility of re-attaching it successfully been discussed. I'm an Aussie, and support my boy Stoner and the way he thinks, but I have massive respect for Lorenzo and was gutted to see this. Knowing as much as I'm able to about the sort of competitor Stoner is, I know he also holds Lorenzo in high regard and would feel the same. He wants to beat the best, and despite the dream of wrapping up the title he would have wanted Lorenzo in the fight.

MotoGP » Stoner gets the bumps, sets practice pace

"Why cant this rider ever be satisfied ?" What world class rider is ever satisfied? He's a perfectionist. The very trait that's netted him 31 premier class wins, a WC, and another WC almost in the bag. LC, let it go. You're anti stoner posts are constant repetition, and clearly indicative of a deeply frustrated Rossi fan. You support Rossi, and there's nothing wrong with being upset at his results this year. But be a sport. There's no need to discredit Stoners achievements because of it. I'm an aussie, and support my boy, but I just don't feel the need to bag Rossi or anyone else. They're all extraordinary athletes in my eyes, and I have nothing but respect for them all. Even Elias :)

MotoGP » 30th pole for Stoner at Misano

"EDIT by CRASH.NET! Inappropriate remark removed." Seriously. I regularly peruse the comment sections and have read tens upon tens of comments infinitely more inappropriate than mine. I respect your right to censor, but I've noticed on more than one occasion that your consistency in doing so is appalling. Of course I expect this comment to also last 10 minutes before being ejected, just cos I'm 'raging against the machine' Seriously, if you're gonna censor, do it with 100% consistency. Or be prepared to have readers who see similar comments go uncensored feel victimized and delete crash.net from their bookmarks. I know i'm considering it.

MotoGP » MotoGP owner Bridgepoint acquires WSBK rights

"Last time I checked Dorna was the one who calls the shot." You obviously don't understand the might of the MSMA. I'm not going to get into a big political debate over who decides what, but needless to say, MotoGP is the exclusive playground of manufacturers (until 2012 obv). This gives them enormous influence when it comes to rule making. Sure, Dorna are the 'official' bosses, and in conjunction with the FIM, IRTA and the MSMA, have the final say on most things. But they more than occasionally bow to the pressures of the manufacturers. No manufacturers in MotoGP = no MotoGP

MotoGP » Simoncelli holds off Lorenzo for Friday double

Pedroner - MotoGP subscription is gold. I mean I hate it when march comes around and I have to fork out $100+, but by the first race I know it's money well spent. Hell, just for the extended live timing I'd pay :). Being in Australia we dont get any FP sessions, so thankfully I get more than just fancy timing for my dosh:) Dunno what i'd do without my MotoGP subscription.

MotoGP » Simoncelli holds off Lorenzo for Friday double

"dont think its a fast enough track for Stoner to shine at" So it was the 'other' guy named Casey Stoner who won here in 2008 then? It's gonna be close. At least I hope so. FP2 times were slightly misleading. Simo was on softs, while JLo, Casey and Pedros were on their hard race tyres. And Casey hit big traffic 2 thirds of the way into his last personal best lap. Looked like he would have ended up somewhere near JLo. Though JLo does look VERY consistent. Still, 2 more sessions. Fingers crossed for a great battle on Sunday.

F1 » Horner: No individual is bigger than the team

Oh and since my initial post a further 4 F1 sites I visit have reported on Dietrich's comments. No doubt there are countless more. Looks like just about everyone except crash.... might as well milk the controversy cow for all it's worth I guess :) Wonder if they'll even put the article up at all. P.S I wonder if this comment is deemed ban-worthy. If it is, good to see tyranny still exists. If not, I commend you crash for at least letting us occasionally poke you with a stick. Cos despite my occasional gripes, I genuinely do look forward to reading the articles here.
