MotoGP » Barbera comments on drink-drive reports

This is the "official" Pramac-Barbera version. The version appearing in the press here in Spain (probably from the Police report) states that the rider had a 0.60 tax of alcohol in air after being stopped by the police. They hadn't stopped in a traffic light and, according to the Police, they were racing in the streets of Valencia. And it's not the first time he's been condemned. He had his driving license removed for ten months not long ago.

MotoGP » de Puniet: I want Suzuki MotoGP ride

If Dorna really wants to make a 2013 full CRT Championship, which is something still not confirmed, I still think MotoGP will be viable. As long as there are streetbike engines available, there will always be engineers willing to squeeze them and join them with a specially-developed frame to be faster than a SBK. This is what they couldn't do before and has almost brought private MotoGP teams to bankruptcy, because they depended on the brands to get their bikes, and the brands dictated the conditions and the prices. Whoever who tried to develop his own bike (Ilmor, Roberts) simply couldn't keep up with the massive costs. Dorna and the FIM knew it and have acted accordingly.

MotoGP » 125: Nico Terol - Q&A

We could list a hundred what ifs about Terol and Zarco, but in the end, as with most long term championships, the best prevailed. Nico has been through injures, mechanic fails and a rival trying to push him out of the track in Montmelo (a well deserved penalty in my opinion). Of course, he had the best equipment, and also the best team, but Zarco was simply too irregular to be champion, and cracked under pressure. Vinales impressed me far more than the French.

MotoGP » Sepang Circuit issues Simoncelli statement

Main concern I think is the evacuation process. It took forever for the ambulance to get there, and still it didn't go straight to the track where the accident had taken place, but on the service track. Medical personal taking the stretcher also didn't look very professional. It probably made no difference to poor Marco, but it may be important sometime in the future.
