MotoGP » 'Not great' - Rossi ninth in Valencia practice

"Lost his ability to psychologically bully riders. Lost his ability to get overnight special tires. Lost credibility at yamaha for running his loose mouth. Lost his ability to set up a bike in 80 seconds. Lost his prima donna (me me me, all parts for me)ability. Not looking good. Unless your glasses are yellow." Fully agree on this, but even hurt is still a dangerous rival. He'll be in the fight come Sunday.

MotoGP » Lorenzo podium to break Rossi’s points’ record

@Vipera: thanks mate. "Really not that important, but what I saw was Jorge not being as dominant in the 2nd half of the season, though consistent. Yes the title was won, but not winning till Estoril is not what I'd like to see if I were him." IMO the main problem for Jorge has been Yamaha engines. They couldn't squeeze them to the limit, and that meant that the Honda had a bit of adventage in the HP department. Still he did a bunch of 2nd places, not bad at all. Of course Jorge Lorenzo is not unbeatable. Nobody is, not even Rossi. But that engine "problem" had its part in Pedrosa's winning run.

MotoGP » Toni Elias back in MotoGP with LCR Honda

I don't hate Elias, but... I'd agree that Moto2 Champion should get a MotoGP ride, only if it was a "new" untested rider to the class. We all know what can Elias do in the top class: among 5th-12th positions, with a sporadic podium if one of the top four (which may be more next year) has a bad day. Of course, that podium will be during the "contract time" of the season. I can't believe LCR got rid of Randy De Puniet. In the long run I thinl he's a much better option than Elias.

MotoGP » 125: Marquez crash to first for dramatic Estoril win

"Ajo team are brilliant,Marc is great too.remember him on the repsol 125's.were they ktm's?" Yes, he was riding a KTM until last year, and probably this is what made him a great rider, having to compensate with his skills the lack of performance of the bike. In that way, it's the same that hapenned to Jorge Lorenzo. In his 125cc days, he rode a Derbi (a real Derbi, not the full-works Aprilia in disguise that it is now) and was in a similar situation: poor bike, but he managed to win races on it. That (and obviously their own quality) probably make them winners.
