MotoGP » Lorenzo: I was thinking of the championship

@gsxr1000 And then, what if you have this mistakes or misfortunes at the end of the season, when most points are awarded, after a perfect season?. Sorry to say that, but it is a dumb idea. Award a race winner with more extra points, or less scoring positions (let's say only the first ten instead of 15 as now), whatever, but all races need to have the same point system.

MotoGP » Moto2: Espargaro wins in Aragon, Redding third

Apart from size and weight, there are a lot of variables than can affect top speed in straight line. Engines are equal for all (no reason to believe the opposite), but the setting up is not. Corner speed in the previous corner also matters, and the riding style is indeed important as well. If anybody bothered to check top speeds in, you would realise that Marquez bike is only the fourth fastest. So?

MotoGP » Capirossi leaks 2013 MotoGP calendar

It's kinda surprising that after all these years people still complain about "so many races in Spain". Business is business (MotoGP is not a sport anymore), and despite the economical crisis Spanish rounds are full of fans and an excellent opportunity to make business. Apart from that, you have the better chance of good weather in Europe and some of the best and safest circuits in the world. No wonder we have four rounds here. What surprises me is that a disgraceful circuit like Indianapolis is still present in this Championship, or how races like Qatar or Sepang can make profits with completely empty stands.
