F1 » van der Garde stops pursuit for Sauber Australian GP drive

Richard...surely his "crusade" was to ensure that when when an legally binding agreement is made that both parties stick to it, at least that appears to be what most of the other drivers think. As for dragging down F1 to that level, well it seems to me in the last few years F1 needs no help from VdG it's managing very nicely to scrape the bottom of the barrel on it's own. When I think back to what F1 once was I could weep at the current state of this "money is everything culture" that has lowered the tone of our sport. Love the technology, hate the politics.

F1 » Manor summoned by FIA after missing qualifying

Sunny.....Yep dead right I am disappointed, you know me I would like a grid of 26 cars. But, unfortunately the politics/financial shenanigans of F1 sully what could be a beautiful sport. Sunny back on Mar 5 before they were crash tested you were saying that you didn't think they would go to Australia and I said "What do you say £20 to your favourite charity if they don't go, or £20 to my favourite charity if they do?. Now, I know they did go, but I'm not one to hide behind the little nittygritty legal meaning of every single word, and the implication was that if they went to Aus. they would race - and they didn't. So Sunny please name your charity and I will happily send them £20. Because mate you were right and I was wrong.

F1 » van der Garde wins seat as Sauber appeal rejected may think its useless to talk this particular subject over, but looking at the response then boy, oh boy plenty of posters don't. The question I posed yesterday was: " Is Sauber better under MK than it was under that absolute gentleman, Peter Sauber? " Looking at some of the stuff that's come out on here then the answer is a resounding NO! And before anyone says anything, that has nothing to do with her being a female and is not a sexist observation.
