F1 » Arrivabene brands wind tunnel ban proposal ‘stupid’

NitrousOxide.....the "question(s)" are not can you afford "this/that" The question is: will any of this ludicrous moneyspend actually make the racing better? Surely that's what its all about. If not should there really be an F1? I love all motorsport, I love the technical aspects, but the stupid politics leading to a poor racing spectacle really tests me lately with F1. Maybe F1 is now for younger people who are more turned on by the celebrity status of their favourite driver, want to be a part of the "being seen" culture (just look at the grid walk) or people that love the behind the scenes argy-bargy. Me?...I quite like close exciting racing, bit old-fashioned I suppose.

F1 » Villeneuve: Manor should be in GP2!

I generally prefer BBC F1 coverage to SKY, but I was very disappointed with DC on the grid walk when he went down near the back of the grid and couldn't find anyone to talk to. Come on DC. Why not go and see Will Stevens, he is a fellow Brit, and MM could certainly use a bit of airtime. Or has Bernie put out a "give them minimum publicity " embargo on them. as they seem to have very little race tv exposure.

F1 » No human rights concerns as Azerbaijan gets green light

Funny, I didn't hear all this condemnation when the Eurovision song contest was held in Azerbaijan 2012. Even the PC, left wing, BBC was fawning over and bigging up the place with lovely little video clips. For me politics has no place in any sport, and I think that promoting these countries can help change attitudes for the better. Don't get me wrong, I dislike most of the new tracks in remote countries. My F1 dna is with all the classic circuits like Silverstone, Brands Hatch, Spa, Monza etc.
