F1 » Rosberg hits back with Spanish GP pole

107SS2009: Both tyre degradation and team strategy will be the prime factors in the race tomorrow. Running at the front and having a set of unused tyres for the race are important (a big advantage) which the front three all have, overtaking is very difficult on this track. Sunny.....what a sad reflection on F1 that is when what is supposed to be the premier motorsport in the world is reduced to: who can change a tyre quicker, or who's computer decides now is the time to pit. I would love to see, just once, a race where one set of tyres are manufactured and made to go the distance, with no pitstops apart from punctures.

F1 » Hamilton: Balance not right

This is what really pisses me off about modern F1. The racing is rarely exciting now, the technology has been castrated, the tyre nonsense is always there, you need a thousand people to run 2 cars, so as a result all that's left is what fans hyped up big stars do in their spare time. On the MotoGP CRASH pages even Valentino Rossi doesn't attract this level of gossip and intrusion. F1 is just showbusiness now. Sad.

F1 » Hamilton: Balance not right

Sunny and Richard.....come on you two!! For the love of God, I can't believe that you are really talking about Hamiltons tickets for a boxing match in his own time? This is tabloid crap usually reserved for Royalty and B listers Frankly who gives a flying f..k where he sits, where he goes, and who with?If I need that info I can get it from The Sun, Express, Daily Star etc. I know that F1 is a bit boring now....But. I'm hoping that you two are having a good laugh and winding us all up, if so I fell for the bait!

MotoGP » ‘Fantastic findings’ for Laverty

Quite honestly I believe that this bike is a dog, I think that Honda have taken a conscious decision to not give the bike the full support that was initially promised. As long as their full GP bike is so good then why should they? I feel really sorry for Hayden and Laverty trailing round on this thing when they were hoping for so much more. Who but a Japanese can really understand the mindset of those in charge?

F1 » Villeneuve: Manor should be in GP2!

I generally prefer BBC F1 coverage to SKY, but I was very disappointed with DC on the grid walk when he went down near the back of the grid and couldn't find anyone to talk to. Come on DC. Why not go and see Will Stevens, he is a fellow Brit, and MM could certainly use a bit of airtime. Or has Bernie put out a "give them minimum publicity " embargo on them. as they seem to have very little race tv exposure.

F1 » Alonso bemoans lack of driver influence in F1

rob01: His driver influence at Ferrari made the whole team sick. He thinks WAY to highly of himself. I can drive for whom ever i want. I control the drivers market. Everyone better enjoy themselves because now. etc ...
Yep, let him retire. Much better for F1, hey and why not have some fresh young blood? At least these youngstedrs don´t have such exagerated pay demands like some of the actual elderly drivers!
Wow, I'm not sure that Britains richest sportsman at £88m and 30 years of age would appreciate being called elderly!! LOL
