MOTOGP » MotoGP Jerez: Rossi 'expected to be faster'

Oh deary me Pre race Rossi WILL win Post race JLo's stuffed the all winning Yamaha. He's got Spies heap of $hit. He's 8 years older and has lost his edge. Now lets look at a true champion. He beats the so called best on what was considered the best bikes 1000cc Yamaha while riding a 750cc Honda. His top mechanic, well that would be himself. Winner of his last TT at the age of 48 ( 15 years older than Rossi ) on a track Rossi would never consider. Anyone who doesn't know who I'm referring to, well you don't know anything about motorcycle racing,

MOTOGP » MotoGP Jerez: Pedrosa wins, Marquez bumps Lorenzo!

Every time I see posts that the reason for Rossi not being up with the front runners is because he's 7 or 8 years older it makes me laugh and I go and get my Joey DVD out and go to the section where his last UGP is. I really love this David Jefferys on the all conquring 1000cc Yamaha says Joey's not his main worry, $hit he's the same age as my father says he and he's on an old 750cc Honda NO WORRIES. First lap Yams 1,2,3,4 Joey got a bad start and is sixth. By the last lap Joey's smacked his sorry a$$ and wins the race a race I might add held on a road you know what I mean hedges ditches telegraph poles stone walls etc. Fifteen years older than Rossi, some of you guys make me want to puke.

MOTOGP » Austin MotoGP: Marquez plays down debut title chances

Marc is a great rider, no doubt about it, but I'm still waiting to see anyone slide the a$$ of a Ducati or even a Honda the way Casey did. Little or no traction control. I once read an article about Mick Doohan and how Honda was not happy with him because he had no interest in TC, and when Vale came on board he was only too happy to work on it, so being an old fella I guess I was impressed because Casey rode the bike mostly in the raw so to speak. Racers and and just bike riders in general may go a lot faster but they are getting further away from the true sport.

MOTOGP » Rate the 2013 Texas MotoGP!

It's always a snooze fest if Rossi's not up battling for the lead, personally I thought all the races were quite exciting it must be cause I'm getting old, (correction I am old ) but could someone explain to me how a racer who's up another racer's date doing 200 mph + where if either made the slightest mistake it would end up tragic is boring and for the best part of the race that's how it was. Change of subject and a real reason to moan Why is it America with a population of 300 million + can't find someone who can sing their national anthem .
