MOTOGP » Will Ducati win in MotoGP 2013?

Hi Aussie. I agree the Ducati has (even if unlikely) a chance of winning do you not think Andrea will not take a chance if he sees one, with the exception of Nicky NO ONE has seen any of the other riders on the bike they are all new to Ducati and what little practice they've had was hardly in perfect conditions. Last year I and a lot of others thought Casey had the championship done and dusted with his only competition JLo. Not so if we are being honest his main competition was Dani. Just because Rossi failed miserably does not mean that a young talented and hopefully an ambitious new crew can't get up there later on in the season.

After reading all these comments I'd like to rectify a few of your comments with facts. Audi know nothing about bikes. Wrong. Audi is made up of several companies one of which was NSU who won 4 WCs in the early fifties and for those who are not old enough the Honda Dream was an NSU Max with two cylinders, indicators and rear view mirrors. The Japanese are famous or infamous for taking someone else's design and fine tuning it rotary valve rotary engine etc. When just about everyone says Ducati and none of it's riders have any chance of winning a race I think of Steven Bradbury who won an olympic gold medal for ice skating in 2002. Was he the best I don't think so perhaps 2nd no 3rd no in the top 10 perhaps food for thought.

MOTOGP » Ducati set to kick-start post-Rossi era

In the early 50s NSU dropped into the 125 and 250 classes for a couple of years and won 4 WCs proved their point and dropped out again, in the 50s they were the largest motorcycle manufacturers in the world prior to moving into car manufacturing always forward thinkers they went with the rotary engine which was their downfall. They were bought out by VW who formed another company made up of other failed companies Auto Union DKW another bike company and a few others changed their name to Audi and the rest is history anyone thinking these guys can't cut the mustard are in for a big surprise.

@Villas. You got to be joking mate, since their first year in GP racing they have won at least one race every year and were there or there about, sorry that a certain someone was the first to break that run of win/wins so even if the bike was (I know every one knows)not rider friendly it still was possible to win on it even Troy Bayliss had a win on it, not saying he's a bad racer he himself said he'd had his chance but being an Aussie after his time on the bike and he was not impressed by his time on it he moved on unlike some who never won a race and never will but will hang in there to the death he got out to let new blood in, fair play to him.
