WSBK » Eugene Laverty - Q&A

I mentioned the engine limit previously as well as an issue for Aprilia, sure Gigi might have had that in mind too lol. Biaggi used 40+ engines in his last year.....40+ ffs! That's crazy. I do like Eugene...whereas i have really grown to dislike Melandri, dirty rider with no respect for anyone. Oh and pass of the year has to go to Eugene when he got Melandri back round the outside of the last corner after having a really dirty move pulled on him about two laps earlier by MM

MotoGP » Paul Bird (PBM MotoGP) - Q&A

Quick to slag others off and treats people with a lack of respect whereas he seems to want that respect automatically from everyone else. Respect is earned not a given. As for the Q+A, well he set the agenda, repeated himself over and over again within it and i must say this is the worst Q+A i've seen on Crash in a while. I think back to the one with Sykes crew chief and that was superb, i don't blame Crash...it's just typical Birdie bollox imo

F1 » Boullier: Raikkonen is 'completely on side'

Kimi is out of the last 2 GP's due to needing back surgery, there were also rumours of a swap between Kimi and Hulk for CoTA which are obviously completely unfounded. A couple of other sites are already reporting he is out due to needing surgery...and also the fact that if he waited longer it would impact on his testing with Ferrari (1 month recovery from op required) so i think this is a middle finger to Lotus with Kimi concentrating on what he needs to do for next year

WSBK » Crescent Suzuki confirms Camier exit

I have my issues with Suzuki to be honest and i have mentioned them many times before now. You can change riders as many times as you like but if you do not support the teams to improve the bikes then you'll still struggle for any success. I am not knocking Eugene, i think he is a superb rider but if you think he can make the Suzuki go faster through talent then you are mistaken...no scrub that and insert the word deluded instead. Leon is a class rider and anyone referring to his performances on the Aprilia as a stick to beat him with is again wrong imo. He did not have the same spec bike as Max and there were times (as there was with Eugene) when he had to move over to let the team leader through. Those Aprilia's have been evenly matched this year but not prior to it. So Suzuki, support the teams you have and you'll do better, carry on how you have done for the last X amount of years and you'll continue to get what you have gotten....nothing

MotoGP » Rossi pledges to help Lorenzo 'as much as possible'

Unfortunately for J-Lo we have all seen this season that VR is 4th best so unlikely to have a bearing on the title race....i don't see Pedro doing The Joker any favours either to be honest so it will be a shootout between the two front runners which is as it should be And before anyone get's their knickers in a knot, i am not slating VR, just commenting based on his performance this season in comparison to the other top 3

F1 » F1 points to adopt ATP approach?

Do not change it to a BSB style scoring system. The only people that benefit are the organisers through bigger gate receipts being guaranteed at the end of the season. The vast majority of BSB fans hate the system with a passion....not including this year (i've not looked it up) the two previous seasons had two winners who would not have won when comparing the points based on the previous system..i.e. the one with the most points at the end of the season wins....a system that skews the winner based on a Shootout is not a good system..the winner should eb the one who does best over the whole season and not some poxy play off system which would be better off in the NFL Oh and Alex Lowes won...not due to a twist of fate but because he had the best run in...Shakey won loads at the start of the season and Alex won loads at the end

F1 » Vettel escapes donuts penalty in Abu Dhabi

@andrew2k Yeah Lorenzo did one AFTER winning the title, back in the day they did them after every race...and not just the winners....and the main reason they don't do them now like they used to was down to engine life. If you watch BSB or WSB they were still doing them this year after their second race (tend not to after the first as they don't want to leave their mechanics with huge amount to do if the engine blows)...now as for next year, WSB will have a maximum amount of engines and that will reduce the burnout quotient. Additionally.....Aprilia have stopped the factory thing next year..i think because of the engine limits. At the end of 2012, Biaggi had gone through over 40 engines to win that title!

F1 » Vettel escapes donuts penalty in Abu Dhabi

Glad to see tbh, it is a good thing for the fans in attendance and those of us watching on the telly . I thought there were other reasons why they shouldn't do this, well one reason in regards to the team at least....engine life. They stopped doing them in MotoGP for this reason and given F1 has similar rules in terms of engines i figured that was the main reasoning behind it. As for the inconsistency between this week and last...i don't think there is any to be honest...Seb got nailed for not going to Parc Ferme when he should have, this time he did it on track but still accessed the pit lane afterwards, something he could not do in India as he had already past them.
