BSB » Assen - Free practice times (3)

My mate just sent me a text from Assen. He was speaking to a PBM mechanic and the guy said if Nori does well in these three rounds he will be offered the CRT bike in GP for the end of the season and will also be offered whatever they are riding next year for the season in GP's. I hope he does well and then we'll see if that mechanic was full of it or if indeed this is true. You heard it here first :)

BSB » Tommy Bridewell joins Milwaukee Yamaha!

Tommy will be getting paid and he wasn't with Halsall, what is it with people on here and elsewhere that expect riders to do it for free? A dangerous sport and all riders should be getting paid for entertaining us. Hope he gets a big fat cheque and then next year he gets another big fat cheque and a competitive ride. BTW, the bike has done well with Tommy on it, partly due to him and partly due to them buying set up data from Birdie's team, that was reported previously. Ultimately i want Tommy to do well but i also want him rewarded for his riding :)

BSB » Noriyuki Haga returns to BSB

The reason he isn't going for a supersport rider (IMO) is down to experience, had it of been 3 British rounds he may have done but you are not going to get a BSS rider being able to support Shakey, with Nori there is a chance he can get into the mix. Never thought i had anything in common with Birdie but Nori is one of my heroes we now have one thing in common...make that 2, i like roast chicken :)

BSB » Noriyuki Haga returns to BSB

OK i do understand where you are all coming from but as a die hard Nori fan i can't help but want to see him riding again. So Devil's advocate time.... Who could Birdie get that knows Assen and Brands as well as Nori? Additionally, let's no forget that Nori just got 3rd in the Suzuka 8 hours with him and Yukio doing most of the riding as Schwantz only did one hour of the race. I know he is not at his peak but he really does have a chance of upsetting a few of the other riders and he will be a good wing man for Shakey. I hope he does well, i have no expectations but i certainly have my fingers crossed. Go #41!!
