MotoGP » Sam Lowes: Why I chose Moto2 over WSBK

The only problem i have with this is the chassis he is going on, it is currently nowhere. I would have thought he could of had a chance with one of the better teams on the grid given he is WSS champ. Having said that i wish him all the best for next year, going to be interesting if everything pans out and we have Marquez x 2 and Lowes x 2 on the GP grid .... surely that would be a first in GP history? 2 lot's of brothers and one set being twins :) (and no not forgot Scott but this story is about Sam) :)

MotoGP » Marc Marquez 'sorry for any offence'

Two points 1. I doubt Marquez intended to cause offence BUT this does go to show that the Spanish have a long way to go before they have got a grip around cultural differences (history, recent history has shown this may times) and what is and is not acceptable. 2. Just because it didn't offend the Spanish doesn't mean it wouldn't offend the Japanese. 3. Love it how people go on about the PC brigade as if it is something terrible to actually be aware of what can and cannot be seen as offensive. Sensitivity and awareness about someones culture and what may cause offence is a positive thing. There were things that were acceptable AND still offensive years ago that nobody bothered adjusting to, the world is a better place now that most of us have that awareness

MotoGP » Marquez: The little brother is coming!

I'm a little jealous of the Spanish system.....only because i want us to have a similar system in the UK, if we were backing our boys in the same way in this country we could potentially have similar results to them. It is all about the set up in that country supporting young riders to come through, both through their national championship and sponsors being willing to back them. Full of admiration for what that country has done and is doing to back their talent

MotoGP » Moto2: Scott Redding suffers wrist injury

Gutted for Scott. I'm not getting into negativity about Pol, hardly his fault is it. Just feel for #45 right now and we all lose a good end to the season, it has been an incredibly interesting duel between the two throughout the season. He is going to get the wrist sorted and try to race Motegi but tbh that is going to be incredibly difficult..time will tell but he only has a week between races

BSB » Lowes: Brands Hatch wins will decide title

I've been puzzled by both brothers choices in regards to the next step in their careers to be honest. Alex potentially on Birdie's backmarker but as mentioned by RaceCrafter, if he gets that Honda then maybe not so bad. In regards to Sam, he is going on the Moto2 Speedup as WSS champion surely he deserves a front running bike? And surely one of the top running teams would want him? Given that Gino Rea was on it last time out and qualified outside the top 20 (as did the other riders on it) it doesn't seem that competitive. Interested in other peoples thoughts on this :)
