F1 » Hamilton bites the dust in Q2

Lewis admitted it was down to him, he did look rather peeved with himself, end of story tbh but we know he gets the most responses regarding posts on here whether they be positive or negative it is all good traffic for Crash and their advertising revenues. No story regarding the same applying to Kimi i see...even though he is the most popular driver in F1 lol. Popularity does not a Crash headline make :)

WSS » Sofuoglu: It's a level playing field in Turkey

And one other thing, the people that matter ...the riders....i see none of them complaining about bikes having an unfair advantage. Had the DNF's not occurred the points would be significantly closer AND two of Kenan's were unforced errors.....his mistakes which he has admitted. Yeah, you can be a fan of anyone and as a fan you have a right to be slightly blinkered...but i think the claims about the bike take away from the talent of the other rider who has come of age this year with a decent team around him, focussed on him. Hey and just because you believe it's all about the bike doesn't mean the rest of us have to buy into it.

WSS » Sofuoglu: It's a level playing field in Turkey

Have to disagree with the assertion that Sam's bike is head and shoulders above Kenan's. Reality is that Sam has sorted himself out and he is with a team that aren't overstretched like Buckmasters is (too many bikes meant none of the riders got their own team of mechanics, there was an article on this ages ago where Sam highlighted how important this has been for him). And when Kenan was winning it wasn't all about him being on the best bike...but now Sam is and thats the reason. Riders get a period of dominance until someone else comes along to take over the mantle. Thing is, Sam will move on, Kenan won't as he is a WSS rider...WSB nor Moto2 has worked out for him. One rider is upwards and onwards and the other is settled in his chosen field.

MotoGP » British Moto2: Great Scott gives champion's ride, Espargaro struggles

Got to agree Garcia, i am quick to give plaudits (rightly so) to Scott but Nakagami was excellent, a couple of brilliant passes but overall he is looking like the next big thing for Japan. I hope he is as i want the Japanese to have a decent rider to support as well as us Brit's having Scott. I am a fan of Japan and i have enough Nori merchandise to fill a shop :)

WSBK » Rea breaks femur, says lack of flags ‘unbelievable’

I saw the green flag waving (they showed it on Eurosport) just as Johnny Rea came flying off into the gravel. The marshall then dropped the green and put up a yellow. Given that the Kwak had already laid the oil down just before i think it was a pretty disgusting performance by the marshall there. Should already have been a red flag at the point of the Kwak chucking it's load on the tarmac. And the fact that this corners had hay bales protecting a tyre wall was another big balls up....air fencing should have been in place. Anyone see the guy of the scaffold doing the camera work as Leon's bikes came flying through the air? He didn't even flinch..guy has big cajones :)

MotoGP » British Moto2, Silverstone - Race Results

What a ride, proud as hell watching that race, he was brilliant. Don't worry about what he is riding next year, he is only 20 and he'll show enough to get a decent bike the following year without the pressure of a factory bike. Whilst Marquez may not have won at that age i don't think it is fair to point the finger at him. After seeing how he did yesterday and seeing how he has done since arriving in GP's i don't think anyone can argue that he is a bit special. I believe Scott is pretty damn special too and he'll show them good and proper. And who was it saying it was all over and Pol would take Scott for the title? Well after yesterdays showing i think Scott has shown everyone that he's the one in the driving seat, lot's of work for Pol to do. Go #45!!
