F1 » Hamilton beats Ricciardo to pole

Not surprised with the pole given that pre-season has put the Merc's head and shoulders above the rest. First qualy they manage to set their times on the slower tyre which shows what they potentially have in reserve. But Mr Ricciardo, well done sir, fast throughout the sessions, very impressive. Surprised with Seb as it wasn't just down to that yellow flag that he didn't get through, he could of set a faster time earlier but didn't. He'll get it together i am sure. Also impressed with the Red Bull recovery from pre-season to now. Great session, we have gained a lot in term of how the cars handle (or not lol) but we've lost that amazing sound...very strange hearing an F1 car sound like that after the screamers of the last few years. For those who love their bike racing too it's like they put a Moto3 engine into a full fat GP bike. I just love the sliding about and if i have to weigh up the two i think from what i have seen so far is that we all probably gained in term of the spectacle

F1 » Vettel won’t let issues divide Red Bull and Renault

Whilst not being Seb's biggest fan i truly hope he deals with this like a true champ. His words at the end of last year over the radio about remembering what this feels like and that it wont always be like this were quite prophetic given the teams current woes. He could turn a lot of public opinion if he deals with the adversity correctly and i believe a lot of the stick he gets has gotten a bit OTT. Yes some of it merited but as i have said before about other young-ish drivers....would like to see a lot of posters on here react any better....and i include myself in that

MotoGP » Official: Ducati goes Open class for MotoGP 2014

It is going to be hilarious if Espagaro beats them to the Open title on that Yam. I want Cal to de well but there would be a certain amount of karma if the above were to happen....not Cal karma to be clear....all Ducati karma. I honestly thought Gigi coming in was going to turn things around quick style. Shows how much i know. I understand why they have done it but as you can tell i have mixed feelings on a factory effort doing this and this is not what Cal signed up for imo

WSBK » Lowes upstages rivals to pace practice

ProfessorX: ... You are right though, Alex might just cruise in for a couple podiums and not try to win them to early like Marquez intentionally rode behind people last year, and didn't try winning till around mid season (discounting COTA). Hope it's not too easy for him like it was too easy for his brother last year.
That's hilarious, you say Marc intentionally runs behind people until mid-season and then point out that he won the 2nd race which completely flies in the face of your argument. Good job fella. I'd go into some of you others posts but tbh if you take your reasoning in what i have highlighted and apply it to everything else then there is no need to dissect any other comments. Oh and back on seen it is WSS and now it looks like we've got one in WSB to make the rest look a bit silly Go #22! :)
