MotoGP » Redding rides ‘very different’ RC213V

Scott is with a new team, his crew chief isn't from GP's, they are all learning. What I hope to see is the same as I have seen this year where he has found his feet steadily and then been the best rider on the Open for most of the season. I expect him to be battling with Cal who is on similar machinery pretty quickly into the season. If he does that i'll be happy, he may surprise a few but i'd rather he did what he is doing than what Toseland did which was to try too hard and wreck his career as a result of too much injury :)

MotoGP » Valencia MotoGP test times - Wednesday (Final)

So if you looked at the test times for today as with other days you will see Scott pretty much improved every session...so for today 2.4 secs off top then 2.0 and now 1.6. You can take it however you like but they are working through things bit by bit. It is not just Scott new to the bike, pretty much the whole team are and they have just the one set of data. This is not like walking into the HRC team with their wealth of data and experience. I am a big fan of Scotty as is well known on here but i'm not someone who defend to the hilt and not have a word said against him. All i want people to do is to wait a bit and give him time before making unfair judgements based on a few hours work. If he is still 14th at the last test then i will be worried but so far he has shown in the last year that he is methodical in his approach and to me that should be applauded and for sure it keeps the repair bills low :)

F1 » F1: Button would relish Alonso battle

I think in terms of getting a decent car together you'd like FA and JB to be your drivers and the idea of KM dropping back to testing for them is a good one. You'd only be looking at a 1 year option for JB and if he does brilliantly against FA then you could extend. Honda also love JB and the Japanese know him well too. I'd love to see it, time will tell and i can't help but have a soft spot for Jenson, nice bloke, very amiable and he is also very marketable....additionally FA is with Santander and JB did a lot of their UK based advertising as you will have seen. Wish they'd just open their mouths and tell us rather than leaving us all hanging

F1 » F1: I was always in control, says Rosberg

#hatersgonnahate Maya Angelou: Hate, it has caused a lot of problems in the world, but has not solved one yet. Given that is all some of you do I figured i'd quote someone much more worthy than me. Give it a rest. Rather than detract from Lewis, just say something positive about Nico. Not expecting a miracle but surely it is possible to leave the nastiness and bile at the door

F1 » Rosberg holds off Hamilton in thrilling Brazilian GP

richard: nice to speculate what nico said, but it was just a simple "forgot that" when he realised that he had left his champers behind.
Nonsense, google it, clearly swears. What you say doesn't even match up, he even has the champagne bottle in his hands when he says it. It matters not in the wider scheme of things but it's 100% sweary. Was just amused by it at the time

F1 » F1: I was always in control, says Rosberg

RDix: He spun and still caught up to Rosberg. He didn't have to pass him second was all he needed. Hate all you want. I'm actually an Alonso fan not Lewis but it's obvious that without reliability issue Lewis would be too far ahead for Rosberg to catch even with the circus show NASCAR style double points finale.
And this is why people like George get air time. Accept that Nico was the better man in Brazil, he was it's a fact. I want to see Lewis win the title, i think he should but the fact is that it wasn't about reliability, Lewis made a significant error of his own doing and has admitted that fact....and we all saw it, there is no doubt. And he was definitely trying to catch and pass Nico and didn't manage it...another fact.
