MotoGP » Bump and shake sends 'disappointed' Stoner off

@ fishpieface "gonna be the most uncharassmatic champ since Mick Doohan.. " That's ok can pay your 200 hard earned reddies at the GP to watch a really 'charassmatic' guy ride in a "not willing to push it that hard..." 6th place. I myself will just have to put up with watching an 'uncharassmatic' rider drift through the apexes at 200 KM/H and generally ride the bike like he's wrestling a bag of cats

BSB » Brookes: Stuff it, I’m bringing the old Josh back!

@ Tetley 1. You should read the comment above your last one 2. "openly criticised by TV commentators"....hmmm well that's "gospel" then 3. "Hopkins is way ahead of Brookes, even with the handicaps of pain from a horrendous finger injury and his non-factory bike" ... that wouldn't be the same Hopper who came 6th in the MotoGP world championship on an underpowered, under-funded and under-developed Suzuki would it? ....yep, that's a fair comparison

MotoGP » Rossi to try aluminium chassis at Aragon

An interesting interview with Stoner in the latest AMCN On the subject of changing to aluminium frames for the Duke's, Stoner said that at the end of 2008, he tested both an alloy and a carbon fibre front sub frame with almost no difference in performance so Ducati opted to go with the more modern material. What he didn't say was whether the sub frames were attached to the current mounting points or not. Interestingly he said "if they think the C.F. frame is bad, they should have tried the old steel trellis frame" This would seem to verify my observation in 2007 at Phillip Island that when Stoner was on the track, he looked like he was wrestling a bag of cats
