Even Micheal knows that WSBK will produce more interesting racing - its a fantastic series and is eminently more watchable than MotoGP (although I am a huge fan of both series).

Its good to see such a high profile sportsman like Micheal appearing in the bike paddocks - can only help our sport.

Monster, you have hit the nail on the head there. It gets quite tedious listening to the armchair experts moaning about something they have no idea about.

Scassa has a huge advantage over the oposition as he has according to the article "raced at the end of 2009 for DFX". Hope he also got the lottery numbers while hanging out in the future!

All this talk of Melandri, but no word anywhere about Hopkins....why is the Italian being financed into a ride by Dorna and the Anglo American being left in the cold? seems a bit off to me.

Hey DC, yeah somewhere on this site he said that he wasnt interested in racing supebikes - seems odd as it isnt a bad second choice, assuming of course a ride was even available.

The same advisor who said "dont accept a WSBK ride". I mean what sort of time is this to be picky over which series to race in? If a ride came up in the all korean moped championship he should take it!

Hey Nigel, You forgot Yamaha on Loris's CV - he won his first 500cc race with Raineys team when Criville and Doohan tried to occupy the same peice of tarmac... :)

Baja, dont forget it was his first year on the big bikes, neither Melandri or Elias did much first time out, and Dovi only podiumed once in his rookie year. Give the guy a break he can obviously ride a bike very well, like all the top flight, however he is also that rare thing - a consistent race winner/podium challenger. Stoners biggest problem is opening his mouth to tell us about his injuries, once he learns to jeep it to himself he will have a massive mental advantage over his rivals (except Rossi).

Seems like the perfect scenario for Kenny Roberts to step back into racing, take kawasaki as a good starting point and continue development from there. They had the capability to build a bespoke engine a few years ago but I assume money would be the issue, unless he is enjoying retirement.
