Even Micheal knows that WSBK will produce more interesting racing - its a fantastic series and is eminently more watchable than MotoGP (although I am a huge fan of both series).

Its good to see such a high profile sportsman like Micheal appearing in the bike paddocks - can only help our sport.

Yes its very annoying that a) they havent issued times and b) they tested at a different track to everyone else. Its all we have to keep us going for the long winter months!

I would expect nothing less from the Germans - they probably snuck into Troy''s room while he was asleep and measured him up to ensure the pegs and bars fitted perfectly!

I very much doubt Spies has stepped down - AMA isnt anything like the WSBK paddock, and he never had a MotoGP ride to step down from.

Navi, Problem with chilling is its incredibly boring as no doubt Schumi is finding out, hence the bike racing.

Kwaka, You forgot Richards and the BSS title :-) Going to miss Troy - what a rider, hope he enjoys retirement and thanks for all the awesome racing over the years.

Yeah Alfie, thats my worry as well - he should have stayed for at least another year in the top class as now he is damaged goods and will be forgotten by the next wave of youngsters. Maybe he will prove us wrong and it will end up being a good career move - just doesnt seem so from my view on the spectator bench.

In the interview I saw, Andrew insinuated that he had been offered the same deal as Johnny and expected to move up for 2009. Sofuoglu definately disapointing and showing a lack of ambition to return to WSS - but then again maybe racing somewhere that you can get podiums is more fun. I often wonder why guys stay in Motogp so long circulating at the back when a change in championship might make them front runners. Look at Checa - he doesnt even expect to win anymore because he spent so long getting beaten - America must have been a huge shock for him.

Such a shame Andrew is staying in WSS, the last interviews I saw of him he wasnt a happy chap. Unfortunately I think its going to be a Ten Kate white wash with Sofuloglu and Pitt battling it out between themselves.

I would pay the extra, although agree with JP that the timing with the current world financial climate is crap.
