F1 » FIA approves F1 qualifying change, cockpit safety improvements

LoveF1: Eliminated cars should not be allowed to trundle all the way back to the pits after being eliminated. There should be exit roads or parking sections (whatever you want to call it) where the eliminated cars IMMEDIATELY dive into before or after the finishing line and park the car immediately. Kinda like the way that *walkers* immediately have to stop after being eliminated in the Olympics. Charlie Whiting radios the eliminated driver who immediately stops, after the chequered flag, or a red light flashes on their dashboard and they know they are the victim(s) of that session and MUST stop immediately within a few seconds - or they get further penalised!
Agreed, Monaco should be fun though.

F1 » Magnussen closes on Maldonado Renault seat

I always thought K Mag was good enough to keep a seat in F1 and was unfortunate the way events unfolded. On a different topic: CRASH why do I now have an unremoveable advertising banner across the bottom of every screen? The bit with actual motorsport news is getting smaller and smaller and according to my malware detector some of your sidelinks contain malware.

F1 » Hamilton performance felt like a win too, says Wolff

This is just Daddy being diplomatic to his two precocious children and giving the loser a pat on the head as well as the winner. "You did very well too Lewis, here's your lollipop, Daddy's very proud of you'. Toto said 'For both of them were faultless in the race....' Uhm, no they weren't Toto, Lewis stuffed up the start and got stuck behind Seb and that pretty much dictated his race, Nico did it right and won this time, we're not blind or stupid Toto.
