MotoGP » Cecchinello: I was nervous when I saw Jack behind Cal…

Not really on, that's the 5th rider he's crashed into and taken down with him this season. Big leap Moto3 to GP and the performances from Miller are showing that it's no walk in the park. Not a fan of Miller's but I was thinking fair play for where he was, that was quite impressive, but with his record this season as well a the conditions there was a feeling of when not if...

MotoGP » Smith closes wet weather gap, maintains Satellite standing

MLF: Three fall in front and he still finishes 7 !!!!! Redding , pol, Danilo, Miller all had a crack. Smith is not able to ,he's just not ! I wondered what excuses his report would come up with. Serves Herve right ,for another year.
I think you proved your own point there. As Realist said, it was in fact 4 that fell ahead of Smith. How many combined points did those 4 riders take away from the Silverstone race? 4 x 0 = ahh, yes. 0. Smith walked away with 9.

MotoGP » Smith closes wet weather gap, maintains Satellite standing

FLtrooper:
SmokinHaddock: And unlike the predictions by some that in the second half of the season he would fall behind Pol, he has in fact now taken an unassailable head to head lead.
Season isn't over yet!
I agree, and anyhting can happen, but realisticly Smith has the beating of P.Espargaro. We've had 12 races, 12 finishes for Smith, 9 for Pol. If Smith carries on the run he's having that's an average of a 6th/7th place finish in the races. For Pol to beat Smith in the championship that means he's going to have to start finishing the 3rd/4th for the rest of the season. When you factor in that Pol has a DNF ratio of 1 in 4 races that makes the challenge even more of a mountain to climb as he 'still' has one more DNF to encouter this season. Furthermore, Pol has only beaten Smith twice this year from his 9 finishes.

MotoGP » Lorenzo: I completely lost vision

PunkySic: His visor looked absolutely fine when he pulled in. Fabio Quartararo lost all vision, he was riding around with his visor OPEN and still finished 4th, holding off Bastianini long enough to force the guy to bin it. Lorenzo got beaten, fair and square. Accept it like a man!
Where were you looking? As soon as he walked under the garage door you could see the fog in the thing. HJC notorious for steaming up.

MotoGP » Redding delighted with second best qualifying of 2015

Abefan: He doesn't have the option to stay. His rcv is promised to Rabat via the estrella Galicia money
Incorrect, Michael Bartholemy said that if Redding does decide to leave then first refusal of that motorcycle falls to Rabat. Redding is the reason that team moved to MotoGP and the team spent 3.5 million Euros to buy that satellite Honda. Additionally the Estrella Galicia money comes from the joining of Monlau Competicion, a team that was only operational in Moto3 before 2015. Nothing to do with Rabat, if the sponsorship were related to a rider bringing it to Marc VDS it would be Alex Marquez.

MotoGP » Redding delighted with second best qualifying of 2015

ElbowDown93: Redding has manged to outpace the GP15s and ahead of Crutchlow. Why would you want to ride a GP15 now ?
When I watched the coverage today I knew I could come on here and find someone saying the exact thing you have. If there is one GP in a season where Redding can pull the rabbit out of the hat in a tough season it's the British Grand Prix, he always rises to the occasion, the extra pressure and expectation of a home race drive him on, it always has done. Pretty much every year since his rookie season in 2008 has been the same, the home Grand Prix is always the headline performance of the season for Redding. I hope I'm wrong when I say this, but I imagine when they get to Misano the story shall return to the normal struggle we've seen all year.
