MotoGP » MotoGP Star of the Year vote: 6th

Gary Rowan: Just goes to show how much Jorge is hated by the British public. Because they are all Rossi fans! Yes, scored more points than any other rider in the second half of the season and was the only rider to challenge Marquez on a number of occassions. Hope he stuff's Rossi next year.
Typical Rossi hater, twisting every negative outcome of every rider that isn't Rossi because you just have to put VR ( and seemingly the British public) down in some way. You seem to forget this is an international website... Lorenzo deserves higher than this. He had 2 bad opening races and a nightmare finale, but these seem to be the 3 races people have based his season on.

I know I'm going to get a load of dislikes for this because there's a lot of Dovi fans about, but P.Espagaro deserves to be higher than Dovi. Of the 13 races completed where both riders finished Espargaro beat Dovi 7 times to Dovi's 6. Of these 13 races Espargaro only scored 5 points less than Dovi, which is seriously impressive for a class rookie. Obviously Dovi got the Ducati on the podium twice (with the misfortune of others playing a part in that) but you have to be in it to win it so I'm not taking anything away from him. But head to head Espargaro should've been at least level with Doivzioso in this poll.

MotoGP » Eugene Laverty: Opportunity knocks

biaggi: He will fight for 20th position with Melandri and De angelis. He has not the skills to be competitive in motogp. Aspar choose Laverty because he was the only one to accept a ridiculous salary
I think an official MotoGP legend knows a little more about hiring somone to compete in his team, on his motorcycle and represent his sponsors at an international level than you do.

WSBK » WSBK Rider of the Year vote: 7th

MotoGP is what he wanted, he outlined 2015 MotoGP as his target even back at the start of 2013. Now he's got it, Dorna required a French rider but at least he holds talent and is a progressing all the time. His race performances have grabbed a lot of people's attention over the last 2 seasons, sadly the politics of him racing have grabbed more attention.
