MotoGP » Colin Edwards to retire at end of 2014

LLarry: Am I the only one here who thinks this is all kinda odd? Barely one race into the season and Colin is announcing his retirement? You tend to do that two thirds of the way in, not right at the very start.
Hmmm the Texan rider announcing his retirement at the race in his home country and his home I can't peice it togther either.

MotoGP » Rossi, Marquez, Hayden pay tribute to Edwards

Monstermash: 12 years in GPs and only 12 podiums and Not 1 win? Yeah it's time to park it Colin. You always had a cocky mouth most likely as you weren't good enough really to make it in GP's. I really don't know what all the fuss is other than a few good rides..
Maybe the fact that he's a sh!t hot rider that gives very very good and detailed feedback, plus he has very good ties with companies. When he first signed with Forward it was only a few months before the stories about Forward getting Yamaha engines for 2014 were leaked.

MotoGP » ‘The lap time difference was 0.3 second’

chrissb6: JedPB67:Think you'll find Honda are stuck with Moto2 as no other manfacturer is willing to take the task on, that's why the deal got renewed.
Mate, why would you want or need a single manufacture championship? Let all the factories in, lets have a manufactures championship. Not a Honda lock out. If Honda had not suggested or offered to supply, the FIM - Dorna would of had no choice but to have made it open to all. I'm not saying don't let other engine manufacturers in, but one of the attractions of Moto2 is that the engines are (well, supposed to be) identical, making for a level playing field. Also if you do let other engine manufacturers is you've basically ended up with another World Supersport class.

F1 » F1 cost cap set to be dropped

andrew2k: I'm disappointed and why? the unwillingness to adopt some serious cost controls just demonstrate to me that certain teams care more about themselves rather than the entire championship.
I think when a team spends £200,000,000 per season something needs to be done, it's outrageous money. And people wonder why Caterham, Marussia and HRT (when they were in it) can't be competitive.
