MotoGP » ‘This was maybe Rossi’s best ever season’

Luvnit: What exactly is it about Valentino Rossi that upsets people? Is he supposed to just pack in because he is 36 even though he is still winning races and enjoying himself? Is it because he is giving the young boys too much competition and making their lives harder than they would like. Is it because he is just too good and still the most loved rider there is? Is it because he is loaded and people are just jealous? Is it because he is Valentino Rossi, 9 times world champion? I haven't a clue as to me he is the most entertaining, exciting, talented and most watchable rider there is and long may he continue! All you odd bods that disagree need to get real and enjoy one of the worlds racing icons while you can as there sure as hell isn't another like him!
Jealousy I imagine. People want to be Valentino Rossi, he's a cool guy.

MotoGP » Stoner’s Ducati return set for January 30

I don't get it, Mattew Birt of MCN tweeted last night that Stoner is open to wild-cards with a possible look to a full time return. The reasons Stoner stated for his departure at the end of 2012 haven't changed, disappeared or altered. He stated MotoGP was boring, there were too many PR functions that he needed to fulfill, too much media attention, Dorna focused too much on Rossi (because he's their bread winner). I don't understand why he wants to come back all of a sudden? There's still the same 4 bikes that can win a GP, there's more and more functions and sposor commitments that need to be attended, the media will be ever more intense and Rossi will still be the headline act of Dorna, because (no matter how much you hate Rossi) there's no denying he brings spectators through the gates at every GP.

MotoGP » Stoner’s Ducati return set for January 30

GuntownTexas: Stoner rode great on every bike he ever raced on. I you don't believe me ask Valentino and Hayden just to name a few. I think he would do good in GP if he were to race full time. Course, full time doesn't really make all the difference - Bayliss did a wildcard entry for Ducati at Phillip Island and won the race so you never know...
It wasn't at Phillip Island that Bayliss won it was Valencia.

ducfer: Nothing new,so was Bayliss winning a race at 37,5 on a Ducati. Not only winning but dominating. After blitzing the superbike field that year.
I'm a huge fan of Bayliss, an incredible rider but saying he was winning a GP at 37.5 isn't really comparible to a full season of MotoGP. Bayliss - 1 MotoGP win, 0 MotoGP titles Biaggi - 12 MotoGP wins, 0 MotoGP titles Checa - 2 MotoGP wins, 0 MotoGP titles Their combined WSB effort - 97 wins, 6 titles My point is a lot of older guys dominate WSB, but can't deliver anything close to a domination of GP's at that age.

FE » Jaguar confirms factory Formula E effort

superdowg316: Jesus you lot are bitter aren't you? The whole point of Formula E is to develop electric engines and new technology to be good enough for road cars and other motorsports. Let's be real, no matter how much we don't want to think it, oil will run out eventually and so will petrol, so this is a great series to get the tech ready for when that happens.
I think these bitter, ancient artifacts that are posting are still pissed that the car took over from the horse!
