WSBK » WSBK Rider of the Year 2015 - 9th

goggogadgetwangslap: Don't get me wrong. Everyone on the grid is far more talented and quicker than i will ever be. But world championship standard? I think not. Just look at Smrz. He was up the front in qualifying most of the time and knocking on the door of podiums every now and then. yet he can't even get up the sharp end of a BSB grid.
I agree with you about the quality of the field from the past few seasons, but in Smrz's defence, it's a lot harder to pull a good lap out around Oulton Park or Cadwell Park then it is around Assen or Misano.

BSB » Mossey 'annoyed' at underperforming rivals

owlockey: Brookes 524. Byrne 438. Ellison 301. Laverty 234. Bridewell 186. Linfoot 175. Mossey 168. They are the true championship points so Mossey wouldn't of changed position anyway, if anything Bridewell 5th in the championship not 6th. I do agree with Mossey though, there does seem to be a lot of complacency in BSB
It's all if's and but's. If Linfoot hadn't broken his leg at Brands round 2, if Shakey hadn't have had whatever issue he had mid season, etc. etc. I agree with Mossey though, it did seem like a few riders began their wind down to the off season a little early.

MotoGP » ‘This was maybe Rossi’s best ever season’

Wob58: It was a shame he ruined it at the end showing a really nasty side to his character and totally losing head under pressure
I don't think he lost his head under pressure. He lost it with Marquez. A feud that Marquez started... "Paddock insiders have said that they believe the day marked the start of a change in the relationship, when Marquez arrived with some of his Repsol Honda crew to set up his bike in an effort to ensure he beat Rossi on home soil. Going against the ethos of Rossi’s home-built track as somewhere for fun and friendly competition, the move was said to have infuriated not only the Italian, but a number of other riders that were present on the day" - from MCN referencing events at Rossi's Ranch the Tuesday after Misano 2014.

IndyCar » Conor Daly gets full-time ride in 2016 with Dale Coyne

theeagle: Dont know why he should be reserve/ test driver at Haas, he might do well at DCR, we wont know till we see and no drive at "The Greatest Spectacle In Racing" (Indy500) which is a pity. Certainly his father (Derek) never set tracks alight in the 80's at Williams but neither did Keke Rosberg (Nico's father) Keke only won the WC courtesy of Pironi's horrific accident at Hockenheim (in the Ferrari) and even then John Watson was in with a chance at McLaren but Rosberg got the spoils and was the lucky boy (of the day)!
So you're saying Daly doesn't deserve a reserve / test drive with Haas, because his dad wasn't a consistent front runner and because fortune favoured K.Rosberg? Okay......

F1 » Verstappen up for Laureus breakthrough accolade

Rexxy: "Hamilton has once again been nominated for World Sportsman of the Year " can a guy with Zero sportsmanship gets nomination for world sportsman... the only thing he should be nominated for is "queen soap opera" award
Personally he makes me think of a reptile called "Gekko!" Of course that is with reference to his frequent change of haircolour.:)
I'm no Hamilton fan, but for the love of god you Hamilton-bashers are just getting ridiculous. I'd hardly call dying his hair once and then dying it back a few weeks later 'frequent'. I get that a lot of you truly hate the bloke, but at least have a sturdy and sensible arguement to back it up instead of trivial stuff like this or his mannerisms.

F1 » Haryanto closing on Manor 2016 F1 drive?

SoSlo: talk about a pay driver
The state Formula 1 is in at the moment every young driver coming through is pretty much required to be a pay driver in order to gain a seat. So much talent leaving single seaters to pursue a career in sportscars, good for sportscars though as the grid keeps getting stronger whilst the Formula 1 grid gets weaker.

MotoGP » Qatar voted ‘most entertaining’ MotoGP race

Medyo Bastos: I am no Rossi fan! I vote for Qatar because it was a real race, with out any taint of preplanned shenanigans and hooliganism. Everyone on equal footing and it was a battle, not farce, fixed nor pre fabricated nor pre meditated. That's why fans are up in arms. And you think they are all Rossi fan? SERIOUSLY?
Phillip Island on it's own was an incredible race, but when you look at what happened at the following 2 races it does cast doubt, certainly in my mind, over the running of that race. As you say, Qatar was just a pure race.
