MotoGP » Yamaha to enter Nakasuga for Motegi

Kats Nakasuga is not good enough for a permanent satellite Yamaha ride. Although his podium was mighty impressive and I'm really not taking anything away from him, because I truly was made up for him to achieve the result in Valencia, but -The race winner won by 37 seconds after starting from pitlane -The race was lead by a CRT bike for the first 2 or 3 laps and remains to be the only race when a CRT was in P1 in a race -5 factory bikes crashed out -The podium was covered by just over a minute Safe to say it was a wacky race!

MotoGP » Miller to join Crutchlow at LCR?

Of the riders currently participating in MotoGP 18 have come up from 250cc/Moto2, 6 have come from elswhere be it AMA, WSB, WSS or BSB. Those 6 have 3 grand prix wins between them...all from Hayden. As Hayden has the longest career of these riders he's the mark. From his first season in GP's in 03 there have been 199 grand prix, out of those only 6 races have been won by riders not from 250cc/MotoGP - Hayden (3), Spies, Vermeulen and Bayliss (1 each).

MotoGP » Miller to join Crutchlow at LCR?

cbrbamby: I'm not saying he shouldn't get this chance, I'm just curious why there is so much effort to take him off a little moto3 bike and on to a high powered prototype. We've seen plenty of good racing from the Ktm over the years so,,,I dunno.
He's going to GP's because Dorna need to secure the Australian TV contract for next year, what better way to do it than by having an Aussie in MotoGP, it's just ridiculous that they're putting Miller on the fast track quite simply because of his nationality. Dorna frequently pay teams to take these riders for their business need and interest. Look at LCR in 2011, they didn't want Toni Elias but Dorna paid them to take him as he was Moto2 champ.
