MotoGP » Danny Kent decides Moto2 with Leopard

People really need to stop comparing riders on their first year in Moto2 (or in Kent's case, his first proper go at Moto2), just let them get on with it. Riders are different, they approach things differently, they learn at different rates. Case in point, Alex Marquez, slammed all year long by armchair racers and commentators alike simply because Rins got to grips with the bike almost instantly, where as A.Marquez didn't, despite the fact that even before he rode the bike he said he was taking a steady approach and was in no rush.

WSBK » Yamaha confirms Crescent, Lowes, Guintoli for WSBK

RDix: Josh Brookes is better than Guintolli. I'd rather see Beubeir get a chance than recycle Guintolli back into the best bike in the grid.
You'd rather have an unknown quantity at WSB level replace Guintoli? A man that, during his 2 years with Aprilia, took a world title, 30 podiums, had 1 DNF in 51 races and in those 51 races finished outside the top 5 only 8 times.

WSBK » Yamaha confirms Crescent, Lowes, Guintoli for WSBK

RyanJG: They might come in on a par with Kawasaki machinery, but to expect them to be above and beyond them in their first year back is ambitious. In the face of strong Yamaha adversity my money says Rea will hold his nerve and rise to occasion, Sykes will bottle it.
Brookes has done a lot of work with the bike, in fact everyone has - IDM, CEV, World Endurance, MotoAmerica, Japanese SBK. It's not like it was in 2009, everyone started from square 1, this time round Yamaha have a lot of data from a lot of different riders and a lot of different tracks. Whether the riders can deliver the performances to tackle Rea and Kawasaki is yet to be seen.

F1 » Grosjean set to lead Haas F1 in 2016

A lot of comaprisson between Manor/Marussia and Haas. My friends relative married one of the senior guys that came to the team when it was Marussia and he said that the team was a joke, they were spending their money in the wrong places, things were just left on desks, nothing ever got chased up etc. That was back in 2012, I don't know how they opperate now as the guy left, but I seriously doubt Haas will be run in a similar manner.

MotoGP » Aprilia signs Bradl for 2016, Lowes 2017

fearenside: I am Australian and I reckon that Lowes is the real deal. The time advantage over other Speed Up riders is dramatic. Ant West ,with all his experience, is trailing in his wake
A friend of a friend worked with West when he rode the MZ in 2011, I had a long discussion with him about West and he said that he can't set a bike up and gave no useful feedback to the team, apparently quite known for it too. He's just a damn talented guy that can just about ride a bike in any state given to him. Personally I think S.Lowes has been on a 600 too long, next season will be his 10th straight season on one, having never competitively ridden anything larger, realistically this makes me think that the Aprilia move won't work out as he and so many are hoping. I'd like to be proved wrong though.
