F1 » F1: V6 engine ‘attracts new fanbase’

I wouldn't say it's so much a point of being scared, but more to do with the pain threshold of high level audible sound. The decibel level of the 'old' style screamer engines was 145 db, a child exposed to lengthy periods of this level of sound frequency will suffer pain and can suffer a ruptured eardrum. I know it's not why the engine rules came into place, but quiter engines are better for the physical and mental health of young F1 fans.

throttlemeister: You're entitled to your opinion of course, but imo if you want to watch F1 racing, you're better off staying at home in front of the TV. You see it better there and you get to see more. If however, you want to experience F1 racing, you need to be trackside and sound is a HUGE part of that experience.
I've been to watch F1, I loved the old engines...but they're exactly that, old. Move with the times.

F1 » Bianchi crash could change Malaysia start time

Taipan: I wonder how the Bad Man and his DOG are getting on, going by the fact that we're all still here and not in jail for laughing at Lulu I'm guessing his attempts to have Crash shut down didn't go so well?
I love how much he gets under your skin. This topic has nothing to do with Hamilton, like so many others, yet you always bring him up just to have a dig. It's hilariously childish.

F1 » Earlier start for Russian Grand Prix

david.broder: it will be a day earlier in that the date will be a day earlier*. Last year it was Sunday 12 October, this year Sunday 11 October * because there's 52 weeks and 1 day in a non-leap year
That's absolutely pointless to say the race is one day earlier. Because it's not, it's simply on a different date, not day. Saying it's on a different day has lead to a large number of people, myself included, thinking we were in for a Saturday race.
