Jakel: I can't see Eugene Laverty getting a seat in MotoGP. He's not been too hot in WSBK. Aprilia dropped him and kept Guintoli. EL seems to have better PR than results.
Aprilia replaced Laverty with Melandri, if you believe the current whispers around the place they're starting to regret it. Furthermore E.Laverty is in talks with 3 teams in MotoGP - Suzuki, Pramac and Aprilia - he is still very good friends with the head of racing at Aprilia and they know what he is capable of in both performance and development of a bike, so don't be too surprised in E.Lav does land a GP ride for 2015.

cfsteezy: Aspar boot Hiroshi Aoyama and give Camier a honda. Aoyama is fast but not consistant as late. If it was my money i would secure Camier for 2015 Aspar team before he signs for a SBK team. I think camier has proven his potential and is a talent that shouldnt be passed up.
I'm a big Camier fan, but he hasn't ever proved his potential on a GP bike, he's never even ridden one, it's a completely different ball game to riding an EVO Superbike or a developing MV, although they were impressive rides. Aoyama, being Japanese, brings Honda backing with him and Honda money...Camier doesn't. Currently Aoyama is the better choice for 2015, but hopefully Camier can impress at Indy and Brno.

TrueFan: Although there are some good riders in Moto2, apart from Rabat (who has decided to stay another year), there are no obvious stand-out performers...some promise, some capable old hands, but no young guns.
You're kidding, right? A class rookie wins a Moto2 GP in his second event in dry conditions and THAT doesn't get classed as stand out? How about the other 2 class rookies who have taken to the podium in L.Salom and Folger? Personally I think this is the best and most impressive year for 'young guns' in Moto2.

F1 » Lauda: Hamilton was right to defy team

Supermario: You need to listen to the team if you took salary from the team. Every point is money for the team. If you didn't want to obey team order and then you should buy your own team. That is the way team is working in Formula One. You're racing for the team and for you but team business must come first.
I disagree, a team in Mercedes' position hires a driver to win a world championship, that is what Hamilton is trying to do. If you expect a driver to just move aside and let his championship rival through then you don't really understand the concept of Formula 1 or racing in general.

F1 » Rosberg seeks answers for Hamilton defiance

kenny45:
JimmyTheRealOne: Well, Rosberg really got screwed today (again), both by his team and the SC periods. Hamilton is maybe unlucky in qualifyings, but in races it's the other way round - and that's what matters.
THE FACTS SPEAK FOR THEMSELF HAMILTON HAD LOTS OF TECHNICAL PROBLEMS, MORE THAN ROSBERG, ROSBERG HAD ONLY ONE DNF, HOW MANY DID LEWIS HAVE?HOW MANY POINTS ARE THAT IN FAVOUR OF ROSSIE?
Also 2 bad qualifying sessions in a row for Hamilton because of issues!

PominOz: I'd also like to see Sam Lowes on the Tech 3 bike...but I think Sam has the confidence and competence to put the bike to good use. And his attitude is well in line with Herve's criteria for the appropriate rider for the seat.
Personally I feel that maybe Sam has been on the 600 for too long, this is his 8th straight year aboard one without a change to 1000cc. Out of the 2 twins I'd say Alex would be a wiser choice as he has ridden all sorts of bikes in the same 8 years such as 600's - Honda, Yamaha 1000's - Kawasaki, Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, KTM and he's been fast on all of them.
