MotoGP » Moto3 Qatar - Race Results

With a lap and a half to go as the leaders headed through turn 7 Masbou was kind of centre of the shot, I thought he's been quite quiet so far considering his weight, no real showing at the front other than laps 3-5. He played his cards right in a massive way! Gutted for Beast, good from Kent, Quartararo impressive and Bagnaia was like a Japanese wild card from the old days! Insane lines...inside, outside any side! Superb start to the season.

MotoGP » Pedrosa: ‘I cannot continue racing this way’

Chopper51: Really!!!!! Dani should have stayed in the intermediate class or returned too it (250 & 600), he would have had more success (championships). He has shown since 2006 that he doesn't have the physical capabilities to control a Moto GP bike. Sorry!!!!
Yes, becuase that's how you progress as a rider isn't it? Winning the same title year after year instead of moving to the premier tier. As for not having the physical capabilities to handle the big GP bike there's 26 wins, 94 podiums, 41 fastest laps and 27 pole positions that say otherwise.

MotoGP » Moto2 Qatar - Race Results

Bravo Folger, was very happy to see him win. He had a lot of bad luck last season, so to see some fortune fall in his favour is nice. On the other hand you have the dire misfortune of Zarco, he managed the gap to Folger superbly which is difficult when you're basically time trialing for the entire race, he didn't deserve to lose, but he handled it very professionally and gave it a good dose of "there's always the next race".

MotoGP » Qatar Moto2: Fortunate Folger eases to victory in drama-filled race

That crash was desperation from Lowes. He carried the brake and the lean angle way way off line on the dirty and dusty line, if he sat up and ran on he knows to overtake riders to get back into 2nd and then push on to catch Zarco would be a near impossible job. Lowes admitted that maybe being fastest all weekend had got to him, which is good, but don't write him off yet. The old saying "you can make a fast rider stop crashing" fits Lowes perfectly. He crashed a lot in British Supersport, stopped crashing, won it. He crashed a lot in World Supersport, stopped crashing, won it. Moto2 he crashed a lot....
