BSB » TAS set for Laverty, Bridewell and BMW?

Abefan: You must have a very short memory cos he was a front runner on the honda when it was starting to show its age a bit, and he has hardly disgraced himself the last two years in GPs riding a slug. If the bike is the business then he will be a top 6 man next year. Considering who he will be racing against thats hardly gonna be easy.
There's nothing wrong with my memory I know he was a front runner, you don't win 7 BSB races and have another 20 or so podiums by not being at the front, but he was never consistent enough to really challenge for the title. Posters on here always want more young talent to come through and to progress, well M.Lav isn't the answer there I'm afraid.

BSB » TAS set for Laverty, Bridewell and BMW?

Yossarian:
JedPB67: If this suggested line up is true they could have picked someone better than M.Laverty
Who ?
If they'd acted quicker they could have had anyone. James Westmoreland, Lee Jackson, Joe Burns, Josh Waters, Filip Backlund, Glenn Irwin, Luke Jones, Josh Elliott, Kyle Ryde, Andy Reid and that's just riders in the BSB paddock. People always saying on here how "we need more young talent coming through like Crutchlow, Camier, Rea and Lowes", but when TAS sign M.Lav everyone just seems to say it's a good call.

MotoGP » Victories for Biaggi, Iddon at SIC Supermoto

TF2: there's no shame in a rider of Iddon's relative inexperience playing catch-up to Badovini IMO.
You're contradicting yourself now...one moment you're saying you think Iddon would shake things up in MotoGP and the next you're saying he's inexperienced which is why he was losing out to Badovini on the same machinery...despite the fact that both riders joined the team having never ridden the Bimota and neither had any set up information.

MotoGP » Victories for Biaggi, Iddon at SIC Supermoto

TF2: ..... I think that Iddon would be one of many to rock the Establishment boat good and proper.
Absolutely no disrespect to Iddon when I say this because to transition from supermoto and MX to circuit racing and be as good as he is, is quite incredible. However he never really "rocked the establishment" in British Supersport against half decent competitors let alone racing against the best in the world that he'd encounter in grand prix.

F1 » Stevens’ focus on F1 with Caterham, Marussia

ProfessorDave: by keeping my ear to the ground! The £0.5 for the Abu Dabhi race seat was officially confirmed by Caterham. I only guessed at what Stevens paid for the two day test but his strong performance at the test certainly did more for his credibility than the GP itself. Max Chilton's dad, allegedly, stumped up 11 million euros per year to Marussia, and Ericsson is rumoured have a consortium of backers adding up to $18 million per season.
Ahh ok, cheers! Knew about Chilton and Ericsson money, but hadn't heard or read anything about Stevens.
