MotoGP » Crutchlow would prefer Rea as team-mate

9times: @Revilo52 Although Miller is highly talented, but there are certainly hand that pushing him to premier series. I don't see that much fuss around more talented guys such as Fenati, Vinales, Marques.... even that kid Bastianini !!
Suggestions at the minute that Bastianini will ride alongside Simone Corsi at Forward Racing in Moto2 next season replacing Mattia Pasini.

MotoGP » Crutchlow would prefer Rea as team-mate

Fullofit: He just doesn't do all of those things often enough to deserve the reputation he has with most British fans, and he's NEVER in his career managed to put a full season together and win any title anywhere ... despite having the best machinery at times!
So you think Rea doesn't deserve a MotoGP ride because he hasn't won a title? Do you feel the same about Scott Redding, Bradley Smith, Karel Abraham, Andrea Iannone, Hector Barbera, Danilo Petrucci, Aleix Espargaro, Yonny Hernandez, Broc Parkes, Alex de Angelis and the man he replaced, - Colin Edwards who hasn't won a race since 2002. How about Dovi who hasn't won a title in the last decade? Or Pedrosa? He's been lacking a title of late.

MotoGP » Smith: We now know what went wrong in Brno

Stuey99: Common mistake made on these boards. Just because we can't ride a bike as fast as BS doesn't mean we're not allowed to express our opinions. Most of us have the opinion that BS isn't good enough to be on a top MotoGP bike. That's because of his results - not because we're better.
Maybe people should write their comments in a similar style to you then, because reading some of these comments people clearly think that they could do a better job than Smith with their eyes closed and their hands tied behind their back.

MotoGP » Crutchlow would prefer Rea as team-mate

grantrd: everyone is going to say that he didnt crash and he was solid and that he needed more time blah blah.........that was his golden opportunity and he didnt take it. The fact that he didnt crash showed that he wasnt trying hard enough
Unfortunately, you're wrong. Rea was told to look after the bike, finish the races and to not crash, he did exactly what Honda told him to do. Furthermore you don't have to crash to try hard, that's a ridiculous statement.

MotoGP » Crutchlow would prefer Rea as team-mate

9times: @JedPB67 Are you seriously thinking that Rea is more talented than Andrea Iannone?
I don't recall ever saying, or even hinting, that Iannone was better than Rea. The person I was replying to said that Rea wasn't good enough to race in MotoGP because he'd never won a championship. The point I was making was that the riders I listed have also never won a championship so by his logic they also don't deserve a MotoGP ride.

Motojunky: WOW. I would have thought Cal would like to fly solo in a team. After all every teamate he has had, has made him look 2nd rate. LCR made a big mistake IMHO.
LCR didn't make the choice, Checchinello was begging HRC to let him keep Bradl for another sesaon. Cal to Honda deal was made through Dorna, Honda and CMW (the new sponsor). LCR won't even be running the bikes in the same colours next year as CMW are only interested in backing the factory bike. However that might change if Rea gets the production bike.

F1 » Lotterer confirmed at Caterham

sprulz: it doesn't make sense to throw in a rookie into the better driver's seat midseason.
It doesn't make sense, but if a team like Caterham is going to drop a driver it'll be the one that brought 1 million dollars with him as opposed to the driver that brought 15.5 million. It's not right, but that's how F1 is these days...s**t.
