F1 » Glitch caused Alonso wing issue

If the DRS is controlled by the FIA what is the point of the line on the track to tell the driver when to activate said DRS or indeed the button on the steering wheel. I understand that software and lots of wires and electricity can be complicated but i just dont understand how that wing could open without drivers input, if FA did indeed have his finger on the button for the DRS at that point then he was indeed breaking the rules.

F1 » Alonso: I'm in F1 to win, not to make friends

Mark, I stand corrected i did not know that mclaren used the information from ferrari, but the whole thing did seem to be because mclaren wanted to be honest with the world when it came to fernando threatening to use it against them. I suppose i better take my blinkers off because i must have been imagining it all. I was once of the opinion that faecal matter followed Alonso around, guess i was wrong must just be the biased press i guess. Or him joining a succession of unlucky teams.

F1 » Brawn refuses to budge on Button pay demands

Brawn GP have had a dream season and have surely profited from their luck and skill, The only reason Kimi is making the demands he is now is because he is a former WDC otherwise he would not be able to justify the demands. Jenson is now a WDC therefore he has the CV to demand a decent wage, considering that a lot of people took pay cuts for the team it is now surely pay day. Theres a lot of teams with maybe a not very strong driver line up for next year who could bag themselves a World champ for 10 mill. And thats still cheaper than most of the other drivers.
