All top riders and drivers get the best kit. It's been that way from the beginning of time. In IndyCar it's Penske, in F1 it's McLearn and Ferrari, in LeMans it's Audi and Puegot, and WSBK it's Ducati, in MotoGP it's Honda (now Yamaha),etc. This is nothing new.

lol@ you people crying and going on "it's not fair that Jorge gets to ride Rossi's bike" or "Rossi should be mad Jorge is winning on a bike he developed" blah, blah, blah First off it's not Rossi's bike - it's Yamaha's bike. And the guys in Japan have just as much to do with the bike and more than Rossi. The engineers and designs used data from Jorge as well as Rossi - he's in the factory team as well you know. And were you guys crying and making a fuss when Rossi was winning races and a title of the NSR that was develped by Doohan and Criville? Hell no, so don't go b1tching now.

phil I haven't check the times but reading some of the articles it didn't seem like ideal conditions today. Times set months apart may be off some do to track temp, wind, etc. If you look at the picture in this article you see the wind blowing dust across the track.

KiwiFan Let's me put a couple of things in perspective. Colin was ALWAYS the 2nd Yamaha in the championship. There was no other Yamaha ahead of him except Val's. NONE. And yes this is JT's 2nd year. But JT has failed to get a podium or even a top 5 finished and hasn't placed in the top 10 in the championship. If you want to compare that to Colin, he finished 5th in the championship his 2nd year with a couple of podiums and fastest laps. If JT was rated by the other teams he would have gotten offers - but he didn't. And by the fact that Spies has already beat in qualifying after about 3hrs on the bike shows that Tech 3 made the right choice. Case closed and nothing to argue.

Hell yeah sack Denning. He should be sacked for letting Spies walk out the front door of the factory if nothing else. A week after this clown signed Loris last year there was an article on MCn where he said they needed to get "younger riders". What?! He should have got a call from Japan after qualifying after Spies finished ahead of both riders stating to turn in his keys. I wouldn't be surprised if he had a box from Japan at his door step when he gets back home. In it will be a sword and note that says "fall on it".

And it's painfully obvious that they have given Chris a sh1t engine so he won't beat Loris in the championship AGAIN this year. I don't believe that Chris can finish 6th last round and now is slower than Talmasci. Suzuki already is looking dumb but I guess the logic is that they would look even dumber for sacking the guy who had the most points for them 2 years in a row and keeping the other guy. But we know they're idiots.

When is Denning going to get sacked? Suzuki should be mindlessly ringing the phone of Tardozzi and mailing him a blank check for him to fill out. And I can almost hear Bautista now "I choose THESE guys?"

@wow that's good to know. But it needed clearing up because as sure as water is wet and fire is hot in the next week or 2 some poster would be on here singing the praises of Burgess saying he was the crew chief of Spencer, Mamola, and Haslam when he was just a hired wrench hand. You would be surprised that the only thing some posters know is what's on the forums! Well if you read some of the post, I doubt if you would be surprised!
