MotoGP » Valentino Rossi lashes out after Qatar nightmare

"Stoner and Pedrosa tested around 40 last season" @Realist Rubbish Honda may have went through 40 frames during the entire 800cc era but not in 1 year. They don't even test enough to evaluate 40 frames. Hell Stoner probably didn't even do 40 test laps last year let alone test more than a couple of chassis. Last year at Valencia or Sepang 1, Honda brought 3 chassis - the old one, a new stiff one, and a softer new one. Casey choose the new stiff one, Dani thought about using the old one but ended up on a new one, and I forgot which one Dovi chose. But no way in hell they went through 40 different chassis types in a year. That's not even possible with the lack of testing AND building a 1000cc bike. Maybe they went through 40 of the same chassis over the season between Repsol, Gresini, and LCR replacing crashed bikes and the like but no way they built and evaluated 40 different types of chassis.

@Realist We are talking about the Japanese here. They don't forget. And I'm glad you mention marketing. Do you think Repsol would be glad to see a satellite team getting more media attention than them? How do you think they would feel if a satellite Honda rider was challenging their bikes? Repsol would sh1t bricks if Honda let Rossi have a bike. It's not happening. Even the MotoGP journolist I follow say it wouldn't happen. Too much bad blood. Let's not forgot Rossi left Honda like a spoilt child because they wouldn't give him their RC211V and had the nerve to take some credit for winning the title. And left Yamaha because they wouldn't fire their promising young employee. Try that with your boss and see where it gets you.

"VR/NH's advice/perspective(s) may be considered, but ultimately Ducati does what Ducati wants to do despite the feedback." @Realist That maybe true now but let's look at what happen when they did listen to Rossi..... After the Valencia test of 2010 when Rossi jumped on Stoner's bike and was dog slow, Ducati took his input back to the factory to knock up the "soft kit" before Christmas. And Rossi didn't even race the thing and dumped it off on Hayden. Then after testing the original 1000cc GP12 he wanted them to knock up some engines casing for the 800cc engine and shoe horn it into the chassis and the GP11.1 was born. And guess what? It was arguably worst then the bike Ducati had already given him in the original GP11. So not only did they waste a year trying to make an 800cc bike work but they had to start from scratch on another 1000cc bike because they ruined the first one. How many parts, packages, chassis, and money did Ducati burn through last year listening to Val?? You can

"Rossi should have no problem getting at least a satellite ride." @billace No trouble?? Where would he go?? Rossi has done a Biaggi and burn his bridges with Yamaha and Honda. It will be a cold day in hell before they let him swing a leg over one of their bikes. Honda has to bless the choice of rider for LCR and for the 1 Gresini bike. It's almost a given that Marquez will have 1 of those bikes. I'm sure Yamaha have to give Herve to blessing on who he hires as well. Niether Yamaha nor Honda have any reason to give Rossi a bike. They have riders in Jorge and Casey more than capable of fighting for the title and don't need Rossi cherry picking podiums from the factory guys. Surely the Honda guys are laughing their asses off at Rossi and Burgess saying "Were is you 80% rider 20% bike theory now"??

@Liam48 hey genius, I don't need your explanation. I probably now more about that time period than you do. It's being repeat year afer yeaer that the M1 was "the worst bike". It was not the worst bike at all and not even close to being the worst bike. Period. No matter if is was a "dog of a bike" in 2003 it was still better than both Aprilias, both kawasakis, both Suzuki, both KR's. That's 4 different makes of bike that were clearly worst than the M1 yet you Rossi boys keep saying it was the worst bike when in FACT it wasn't near the worst.

"Biaggi was on the Honda supposedly the best bike out there and Rossi on the worst." @me Why do you people insist on repeating this lie year after year? Did you watch the 2004 season? If you did you would know that the Suzuki, Kawasaki, Aprilia, KR's, and Harris WCM were all worst. The Yamaha was not the worst and not even close to the worst. And you do know Biaggi did win on it and finished 2nd in the title on it?? And by 2004 when Rossi got their changes had already been made to the bike. You guys just over exaggerate things and make up stuff as you go along to make the story sound better to better glorify your hero.
