MotoGP » Moto2: Marquez snatches thrilling Qatar win

"marc was agressive, a legal move but not good sportsmanship.. maybe im wrong? whats your opinion rawdawg?" Glad you asked! lol Yes it was a legal move but Marquez needs to keep his head about himself. Early in the race he chopped across Iannone as well. He is slip streaming well but it's not like he has a 50hp advantage and blowing by riders. He doesn't wait until he is clear of the riders he pass and just chops then off. Someone needs to show him the tape so he can see that he almost took the front wheel from up under Iannone and Luthi. No penalty is necessary but he needs a talking to.

MotoGP » Cal Crutchlow savours first MotoGP front row

"If Cal and Spies were on equal machinery all year I really wouldn't like to call it." I will call it - Spies. I'm not going to put this out here to hate on Cal and this is not to bad mouth him but to explain my logic. What has Cal done to make anyone think he would beat Spies over a season equal bikes? He don't win any national superbike titles, didn't win near as many WSBK races, no WSBK title, no podiums his first year in MotoGP, no pole his first year in MotoGP and finished outside the top 10 his rookie year in MotoGP. In every measurable stat except WSS titles Spies beats him. Spies is by far the most accomplished racer of the 2. Hands down. Cal gets his first front row start and now it's a toss up who can beat who on equal kit? Spies did that his rookie year.

MotoGP » Dark night for 'worse' Rossi

@TedG Open your eyes. Look at the laps over the entire weekend. He's slow. Period. Please don't harp on "this is a new bike" crap. Nicky missed the Valencia test and had surgury before Sepang and he's out gunning Val. Funny thing is if you've been keeping up with the sessions over the last couple of days it's really not a surprise. Hell, Karel and Barbera are on the old "new" bike are faster. Val has Colin's CRT up his tail pipes. That's inexcusable. The "it's a new bike" excuse doesn't fly when others on that same bike are beating him.

MotoGP » Dark night for 'worse' Rossi

@WC Bogs um, I have posted 3 times about Rossi today - all on Crash all on this thread. Please explain to me how that is "every internet forum across the world"? You have more than 3 post defending your hero on the last 2 pages. You know, I was gonna say some other stuff but I see that you are in pain right now. And surely you have me confused with someone else because I'm never quiet. lol. If you want to defend your hero than offer some data or something relevant to support your argument. Telling lies about me isn't gonna make him faster nor does it excuse him for his lack of results today.

MotoGP » Dark night for 'worse' Rossi

Does anyone know how this is playing out in Italy? If Val was in F1 and drove for Ferrari while being the highest paid driver on the F1 grid placing last amongst the factories, the Italian F1 journalist would not only be calling for him to get sacked immediately after the race but would have already spread the rumors of his replacement with at least 3 drivers.

MotoGP » Cal Crutchlow savours first MotoGP front row

"if I am not mistaken last year you said Cal had no right to be in motogp" @blue hurricane I said it was a questionable promotion at the time it was announced. And that was based on what other WSBK riders had accomplished before they got to the Premier class. Colin, Bayliss, Hodgson, Haga, Xaus, Spies all were either title winners or title contenders in WSBK. Even Hayden, Shakey, and Tamada had at least won their national championships. Cal had only won 3 WSBK races. I said if that's the criteria to be promoted to MotoGP than were was Rea? Or Haslam? But I also said concerning Cal and Karel that they are in MotoGP by whatever means or whatever reasons and it was up to them to show they belong. Getting to MotoGP is one thing but continuing to be there is another. I think both have shown that they belong in this class.
