Let's hope that first Casey gets better and secondly that he will continue to make the title fight interesting. And let's hope the "fans" lay off the "oh he's faking it" BS.

wait a minute A couple of years ago S.Speed and Luizzi where going to do this event and the FIA threaten to take their superlicense if they did so. Shumacher is retired but Neson is looking for a return and Buemi is still racing. So what gives now?

"Hayden was released from his contract and he rode the duc RIGHT after the 2008 valencia race" Exactly - the bike was already done just like I said. He didn't have any input in the design - he couldn't help with the design riding for HRC. Just like they rolled out the 2010s this year after Valencia, they rolled out the 2009 than. From that point on they work on setup and few parts rolled out through the year but the design is set.

oh Kenlucky, your argument doesn't hold water yet again. It was impossible for Hayden to have more miles on the bike in preseason than Melandri for the simple fact that they cut testing this year. And I'm sure that Hayden didn't have any input on the Ducati for the simple fact the bike was done and finished when his HRC contract was up and he was allowed to ride it.

If anyone out there is crying about Spies being aboard the Tech 3 Yamaha let me ask you 3 things: 1. Were you crying last year for Dovi and De Angelis because Lorenzo was on a FACTORY FIAT YAMAHA? 2. Did you say that James Toseland had an advantage over the other rookies because he rode for Tech 3 Yamaha? 3. Did you bitch and complain when Rossi came into MotoGP his rookie year aboard the Honda 500 NSR that had won the last 6 titles in a row? If you said no to any of the questions than shut the f'k up because you're a hypocrite.

The Wildman cometh! If this time last year someone would have said Hector would finish 2nd in 250s they would look at you like your crazy. He was a pleaseant surprise this year. He's lost a bit of his wildness but it was a good thing. I'm sure he will add some "excitment" to MotoGP next year - it maybe in the form of some crashes, taking others out, some fairing and elbow bangin', tire rubbing, hard passes, or the like - but it will be exciting! Hector doesn't give an inch so MotoGP may fit him good.

It was reported the other day on Speedtv.com that the President of the FIA Senate stated that USF1 has paid their nonrefundable entry fee of $440,000. So it looks like they are moving ahead.

Saran! I haven't seen you in a while - nice for you to drop by! Now let me shoot a few holes in your argument! You have notice us Americans are good at shooting, no? First off Melandri is a world champion - he won the 250cc world title the same year Hayden won the AMA title 2002. EVERYONE says that 250s are the way to go for 800 riders right? And the AMA is SOOOOOOOOO lowly right? And yes Nicky finished the title in 13th. But he finished with 104 points. And Melandri? He finished 17th with 51 points. Double the points is f'king earth shattering - that's on a different planet. Hayden was 11 points out of 7th -Melandri was 93! Melandri also rode on 'stones when others weren't.
