Amazing that people blaming Colin for this. How do you all know that Toseland is pushing because of CE, where is your proof?

2 off's in testing and a poor season last year, maybe Toseland is pushing himself to try and keep up with the best riders in the world. Really with the Yamaha being the best bike in the field, and the other riders performing much better. Maybe Toseland is out of his league and this is why he is pushing himself, beyond his limits.

Many of the fans on here took joy in calling a certain rider "crasher" Maybe the mantle has been taken by Toseland.

Come on Bob, you know some of use prefer to ride bikes in place of reading magazines, which make up our opinion. The Moan would fall into this catagory, he would be a pants around ankles kinda guy, with a mag in one hand, and..............................

Amazing he has retired, he has mentioned many times he will never return to GP and had done a 3 day test to give feedback to Ducati. He was a second off the pace on a bike he does not know, my guess he has done the job that Ducati has asked him. There is no EGO in TB unlike others. A very humble man who puts his family first and foremost. He does not have to act like a clown and talk about WRC, F1 tests and breaking records. The man is a champion both on and off the track. Good to see you back Troy, enjoy the retirement. Oh Jamaal, your comments don't say much for JT, do they?

wosideg, no need to get a grip lad. I am married with a loving wife and kids. I will leave that to you Rossi fanboi's. If it is a measure of his talents, then he should quit GP and prove to the world how good he is and win at WRC and F1. If not he could move to Suzuki or Kawasaki and win on a non proven machine, unlike the Yamaha was with wins behind it. If not it just goes to show, it's all media spin with threats to leave Yamaha if he is not given everything and teams mates get given 2nd class treatment, ala Lorenzo, Edwards, etc. I wonder if Rossi would have been given it all, if he was a spray painter from a small country town and not a spoilt prat, pre-madonna.

Gee thanks for the tip Matt. Hasn't he already done a test with 888 racing based in Queensland? The difference is, TB has retired from International bike racing and does not need to media machine to make comment about F1, WRC tests every few weeks when things don't go his way. He is not a headline hunter unlike some with thier ultra EGO's. Troy has done a test with the Ducati MotoGP as planed prior to his retirement and he will slip back into retirement from the bike scene, without the pony act and mention of him being the best ever Superbike rider and all the other drivel from Rossi.net wosideg, learn to read, DOES NOT need to talk about F1, WRC tests.

The Yamaha PR machine at work yet again. Toseland singing, Rossi riding the streets on Paris and doing a parade lap at the IOM. Articles like these make this more a forum for kiddies ALA the Moan and his Fanboi's and less for adults. I await the post that bashes Stoner for not doing the same thing. It's ok James, the English fans have someone else to put their hopes on now. Smith will now get put up on the same pedestal, even though I think this has already happened. 1 race win and on a superior machine and ready to take on the world. I guess it's one better than the "Crash Bandicoot" and his NIL results on the superior machine.

I would really like to see Rossi go one better and prove to us all he is the master. Lets see him go from Yamaha, who were still race winners prior to Rossi joining and joining Suzuki or Kawasaki and taking the world championship. I know some of the Rossi die hard will lash out and say why does he have to prove a thing. I am sure the task on winning on a bike like the Suzuki or Kawasaki would be a much bigger challange than moving over to a brand with runs already on the board. Come Vale, lets see how you go winning on the Suzuki.

Jon, You comments go to prove you are a Rossi fanboy going off records and not really looking beyond. It's funny you seem to think the Ducati was special right out of the box and it was just the rider that caused the issues. I think the rider was much better than the support he was given at Ducati. Funny thing, when Baylis came back for his sole win in GP he managed to do with the majority of his core engineering group from his Superbike team and not the group he worked with in GP previously. As for Camel, I dont think Bayliss was suited to the bike, I guess a little like Melandri and others on the Ducati.

What an amazing post from TAG TEAM. I think it is imposible to compare riders from different generations and different machinary. How can one really lay claim that Rossi is better than Hailwood just by stats. Both riders come from a different time period, with much different machines, different levels of rider safety, different tires, different levels of competition. TAG Team your spot on about the list of riders, I agree with your comments about Baylis as well, a semi great, but maybe not right up there. Still who know what he could have been if he had been dealt different cards. We will never know. To claim Rossi as GOAT is pure ignorance.

Can someone please post a URL so we can listen to him singing? It would make for a refreshing change to hear something come from his mouth, besides the moaning about a partition in the garage, tires, Colin Edwards not talking to him, The Yamaha not being developed around him, etc. Thanks in advance XX
